⚠️ Most wallet drains don't start with a hack. They start with a permission you forgot you gave. A trader lost $999,999 USDT yesterday because of one token approval that granted unlimited access. The attacker's script swept the exact remaining balance and left. Clean. Automated. The dangerous moment never felt dangerous. A routine dApp interaction. A quick confirmation. Done. This is how approval phishing works, and why the habits around it matter more than most people realise. Before you sign any approval, read what it's asking for. Set it to the exact amount the transaction needs. Never unlimited. Beyond that: → Revoke old approvals regularly. @RevokeCash, make it easy. → Use a burner wallet with low funds for new or unfamiliar dApps. Keep your main holdings separate. → Distrust urgency. Countdowns and "limited windows" are pressure tactics, not features. Security isn't supposed to be fast. Fast is how you lose a million dollars to a script.

Remember that permission slip you gave your school in 2004? No? Anyway, they just found it and apparently it still lets them empty your locker. That's basically old token approvals. You approve a smart contract once, forget about it, and the permission can stick around way longer than you think.

Your biggest crypto security risk in a bear market may not actually be phishing scams Instead, it's probably that protocol you granted approvals to. Or it's the staking contract your NFTs are sitting in. Or the lending protocol you're earning yield from. Take a few minutes this week to catalogue everywhere you have 3rd party risk. Identify where you're trusting someone else to secure your funds. Then figure out if you actually feel comfortable with them holding the funds. If you don't, withdraw those assets, revoke those approvals, and return coins to your control. The not your keys, not your crypto mantra has never been more important!
