This medical aid helps prevent/treat global health crises, shoring up political stability in third world nations. What is learned can later be applied everywhere.

I don’t believe this. Clinical trials don’t work like that in any major country. Doctors are not going to stop seeing patients after a two week pause on spending, that’s not even enough time to hit a billing cycle, and the drug supply should be on hand already. Doesn’t make sense.
