It is with a heavy heart that we tell you that Andrew Wilbey passed away just before Christmas. He helped RAR for over 40 years serving in virtually every role during his tenure including Chair and President. He will be missed by all on the Committee and those at the river bank.

@BriSmithy I am sure it will take them a long time to determine that it was “definitely not the fact it was hookless”…..What is interesting is that the Asian brands making high end wheels are mostly sticking to hooked for their own direct products.

Hi @ReadingCouncil this half of the pedestrian crossing outside the Travellers Rest is not working. My son and I waited four cycles of the lights before we risked crossing in the short gap between traffic. This crossing on a busy road gets high levels of use from schoolchildren.

Well I was impressed with how quickly @ReadingCouncil replaced the bollard but apparently this is not a very safe place for a bollard to live because its successor has been taken out too.
