@philipglass I love your music but not if it comes with political nonsense. @realDonaldTrump is not a dictator and @RichardGrenell saved the Kennedy Center. Look at the actual facts. And try not to keep looking like a baby.

@AbbyJohnson Hi. I met you in Ukiah several years ago. I love your mission in life!! About the migraine, I've been taking propranolol for decades and have very few migraines. I don't take it for high blood pressure - i take it just so that I don't get migraines. Good luck and God bless you!!

@BartBordelon @TonySeruga Have you ever noticed that she also knew the secret of the poisoned pills and, like George, never spoke of it. Pure integrity from a young age is seen from both. Beautiful story and so needed today.

Greatest movie ever made period. Here’s the real hero of it though - it’s not necessarily George, but Mary his wife. She’s absolutely incredible and she is the personification of a Biblical wife. Selfless, hard working, husband and family first, humble, virtuous, soft and peaceful, gracious, warm and an absolute rock of love for him.

Every Christmas Eve, I think about George Bailey.
He dreamed of escaping Bedford Falls—of shaking off the dust of a small town, building skyscrapers, exploring the world. Instead, he stayed. He ran the Building & Loan his father left behind. He sacrificed his college money, his honeymoon savings, his chance to see the world, over and over, because people needed him.
By the time the crisis hits, George feels like a failure. His life looks like one long series of missed opportunities, thwarted ambitions, and quiet resentments. He stands on the bridge, convinced the world would be better without him.
Then Clarence shows him the truth: a Bedford Falls without George Bailey is a darker, meaner, hollowed-out place. The people he quietly helped, the small acts of integrity he performed without recognition, the risks he took to protect others—those weren’t detours. They were the substance of his life.
The film’s deepest insight isn’t just that “no man is a failure who has friends.” It’s that real impact is almost always invisible in the moment. The lives you steady, the small kindnesses you extend, the responsibilities you shoulder when no one else will—these things ripple outward in ways you may never see.
A strong sense of purpose doesn’t erase pain; it transforms it. It doesn’t merely explain why hard things happened. It asks: What are you now responsible for because they happened?
Faith, at its best, does the same. It doesn’t promise that everything was “meant to be” in order to make suffering palatable. It invites you to look at what has been entrusted to you in light of what you’ve endured.
George’s story reminds us that meaning is rarely found in the grand escape, but in the faithful presence. The dreams we surrender don’t always vanish—they often become the raw material for something more enduring than we imagined.
If you’re carrying the weight of roads not taken, of dreams deferred, of a life that feels smaller than you once hoped—watch It’s a Wonderful Life again tonight. Not as nostalgia, but as revelation.
You may not see the full difference you’ve made yet.
But it’s there.
And it matters more than you know.
Merry Christmas, friends.

@timburchett you, sir, are the only member of congress with integrity and honesty. The only one. Why is that?

Someone needs to release a list of those people.
Rich Baris THE PEOPLE'S PUNDIT@Peoples_Pundit
I think a lot of Trump's most sincere voters would be stunned to the point of vomiting to learn how many (and who) of their favorite "influencers" take money to attack others on behalf of lobbyists. It's an industry.
English

I agree!! The old GOP is scratching and clawing it's way back. But first, they have to discredit the MAGA America First patriots. It's pathetic and sad but dangerous to people like me who love America.
Rich Baris THE PEOPLE'S PUNDIT@Peoples_Pundit
That's because it is completely astroturfed. This is really about neocons and interventionists seeing the handwriting on the demographic wall and trying to co-opt MAGA. It's at the core about foreign policy amd @JDVance who they see not bombing people for lobbies when they want.
English

Always see who is attacking who. Establishment is working so hard to regain power. Who are they attacking? It's very telling.

Exactly!

Never forget that the country is full of patriotic fly-over men and women who love our nation. We've gone without the coasts support for a long time.

@mkolken Correct ✅

I don't believe anyone anymore. Who is behind the attacks on Tucker and MTG? Who is attacking JDVance on X? This is stupid and it's destructive. And it's on purpose. Stop it. Please. @JDVance @TuckerCarlson @mtgreenee
