@acweyand does this apply to orchiectomy too? or is it mainly vasectomies because there is ongoing sperm production contributing to developing antisperm antibodies? (just curious, mainly because i know a bunch of trans women that have had an orchi.)

@campadrenews thank you for writing about this though, it makes me sad & hesitant to plan trips. i remember magical memories from CMs not even having to do with lines, with DAS at wdw for honeymoon and equiv at universal hollywood. maybe use went up because disabled ppl were more welcomed 🙄🤔

@campadrenews this happens at @UniStudios too. they’re using a 3rd party service @IBCCES that wants doctors notes to “verify” access needs, but deny accommodations anyway. destroying my joy because i don’t want to be up all night the whole vacation in pain just for my kids to have fun 🫠

In April, Disney said it was limiting its popular Disability Access Service to folks w/ developmental disabilities. The mouse says they have accommodations for others, but Disney fans w/ Stage 4 cancer, autism, etc. lamented how they felt betrayed. #DAS latimes.com/california/sto…

@drjenwolkin oh lord, so many people around me thought i was overreacting when i said my adhd changed so much around two pregnancies and then got even worse on testosterone. the hormonal flux and influence is a hell of a rollercoaster ride.

Just a reminder from a neuropsychologist that when they say “ADHD gets better with age” what they really mean is “Men present less hyper-actively” and forget to say “Women go through a HUGE hormonal transition (ahem menopause) and lose their sh*t and their ADHD feels untenable.” -Dr. Jen

@dieworkwear more content that would help transmasc folks would be welcome! i saw your post about shorter and bigger men, but tips when you’re also curvier and bustier, and deemphasizing that, would be helpful. i look positively comical in lots of menswear, with fat wide hips.

I asked two bespoke tailors about this, and their solutions involved adding darts to the bust line, which are not things you can do to a ready-made suit using alterations or even accommodate through made-to-measure. I was disappointed, as that means there are only two answers for curvy women: go bespoke or wear the coat open and style it in cool ways. But bespoke tailors and factory patternmakers have very different ways of producing patterns. A friend who is a professional patternmaker at a men's suit factory once worked on a women's fashion show and tinkered with plus-size women's suit patterns (photos below). I'll send him a note to see what he recommends for people shopping. @ShiloByrd is also a patternmaker and a fount of knowledge. They may be able to give more tips. I generally don't talk about womenswear because it's not something I have experience with, and there are other people here who are in a better position to speak about it.

@SBMPediatrics this was me for baby 1, so i refused to lactate for baby 2. i healed better from a more intense surgery, and milk came in sooner despite not feeding baby at the chest 🤣 i triple fed for weeks, i regret it. i wish someone told me to stop. the dysphoria and exhaustion was brutal.
