I’m heartbroken by these recent tragedies of gun violence, and I just keep thinking about all the leaders who won’t take a stand to save lives and yet line up to pass bills that make it harder for us to vote.

@RichardHaass It’s very sad. But I think there’s still hope and time for the Republicans to make a U-turn this year or it will never happen.

I changed my registration to "no party affiliation" after 40 years. I worked for Reagan & Bush 41 & 43. But today’s Rep Party no longer embraces the policies & principles that led me to join it. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, I didn’t leave the Republican Party; the Party left me.

Yesterday was an incredible day! As only the fifth woman to serve on our nation’s highest court and the first with school-aged children, Justice Barrett is continuing her trend of shattering barriers for women and girls.

Trump just announced he will soon be signing an executive order establishing a "national commission to promote patriotic education" called the "1776 Commission." It is unclear what that means but he has been trashing the 1619 project which aims to educate the nation with facts.
