Imam Al-Muzani, رحمه الله, said:
“One must avoid haraam (unlawful) matters and keep away from spreading rumours, lying, backbiting, transgressing the rights of others and speaking about Allāh without knowledge. All of these are major sins.”
( شرح السنة س.١٢٢)
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Those addicted to desires end up in a situation where they get no pleasure from them, yet are unable to refrain from them.”
[Rawdat al-Muhibbīn p.470]
Has it occurred to you that each time you pray, it could be your last? So take your time and develop a no-rush policy when praying to your Creator. May the Almighty be pleased with us and have Mercy on us all, the day He decides to take us.
Without humility, you won’t go far in life, no matter how successful you think you are. There are many out there who strut around acting like they own the world. Stay away from such behaviour. Be humble. Be compassionate. Nothing belongs to us honestly. Reflect.
Everything is going to work out in the end. Read that again. You have to trust the Almighty. Tell your heart not to be anxious. Do your best and hand it over to Him. Don’t overthink and don’t listen to whisperings in your head.
Ubayd bin Umair رحمه الله said:
"When winter comes: O’ people of the Qur'ān, the nights are lengthened for your prayers (Salāwat) and the days are shortened for your siyām (fasting), so make use of this opportunity."
[مصنف ابن أبي شيبة | ٩٨٣٦]
