@madsbrodt I think impossible to master. Design is about what you see. When that varies cross-browser....

Feels like CSS is both the easiest AND the hardest language, at the same time. Easy to get started, difficult to master 🤔

@palashv2 I do my *creative* coding at night. I then spend the next day figuring out what the hell I’d done and how I did it.

"The more you try to be certain, the more uncertain and insecure you will feel. But the more you embrace being uncertain and not knowing, the more comfortable you will feel in knowing what you don't know" Love this quote for both coding and life in general - embrace uncertainty!

@SimonHoiberg Had same thing, a bunch called ‘Serious about IT’.....I soon added an ‘SH’ to the beginning of the last word. Nobody can care as much about your clients as you.

I considered outsourcing support entirely. In the past two weeks, we got an external support agent hired in to help us out. This completely changed my mind. If you want your users to experience world-class support: Keep doing it yourself. As long as it possibly makes sense!

I still don’t think I’ve seen a good explanation for why past pandemics (even the 1918 flu pandemic) have blown themselves out and this one just doesn’t seem able to?

@flaviocopes I set up my first CMS in 2002 - thersp.com Didn’t know it was CMS at the time, users called it the ‘5th dimension’ lol. Classic ASP, MS Access db, design by Storm Uk.

@madsbrodt Gm, my struggles with js disappeared when I studied javascript objects. The ability for js objects to contain other objects and arrays, functions... anything.... it is the real power of js. It’s how React works... Recent example github.com/jamespankhurst…

@danielcranney I was on strong painkillers for a while, couldn’t look at the screen for too long.. so started working out code in my head, then typing it. Remarkably I found I got very few errors, often running straight off. Now I’m off the painkillers I’ve returned to typing and bugs.
