The Pistons finally found themselves and restored order. The team you saw in Game 7 was the one that won the East by 4 games. Daniss finally found his place alongside Cade. BUT ... if Franz had remained healthy, Orlando holds onto that 24-point G6 lead and advances.
Better to be lucky than good, sometimes. Pistons were cooked in g6
Needed the biggest collapse in NBA playoff history. No team had missed 23 straight shots in a playoff game. Blew a 24-point lead.
At home, no less!
Now Detroit could make conference finals 😂
This Pistons-Magic series reminds me very much of Clippers-Rockets in 2015.
LA won Game 1, lost 2, won 3/4 at home. Lost 5, but you’re going home so all good. You’re up big in Game 6, suffer a monumental 4th quarter collapse, and then get blown out on the road in Game 7.
Clippers were outscored by 25 at home in the 4th quarter of Game 6. Magic were outscored by 23 at home in the 4th of their Game 6.
I think Orlando wins this series if Franz Wagner stays healthy.
You know what? Denver got the injury reprieve and still lost. Boston got three Embiid-less games and still lost.
Detroit got lucky. It's also eight wins away from the Finals and all is forgiven if they get there.
The Pistons are shooting themselves in the foot in just unforced errors. These turnovers aren’t from Orlando forcing them.
You have players dropping the ball, dribbling off their foot, fumbling catches, all in transition/momentum shifting plays, too.
Very frustrating.
Jalen Slawson hits Isaiah Stewart with a blindside forearm to the back.
The officials have given Slawson a flagrant two foul, and he’s been ejected.
Pacers assistant Jim Boylen and Pistons assistant Vitaly Potapenko were also given technical fouls.
Pistons 118-100 Hornets
Disjointed game by both teams, full of defensive errors for Charlotte. LaMelo Ball’s shot making kept the Hornets afloat in the first half, but Detroit ramped up their D limiting to just 10 4th Q points

Cade Cunningham missed three weeks with a collapsed lung…
He made his return tonight and scored his first points in style 🔥
Despite holding the #1 seed, the Pistons are +500 win the East at @bet365_us 👀
