The goal is to be the last person to buy a 'key' before a timer runs out, with the last buyer winning the grand prize. But the twist: Every time someone buys a key, the timer extends by 15 minutes (up to a maximum of 8 hours), the cost of the next key increases and the grand prize grows in value. Timing your purchase as the last buyer is pretty much impossible, since someone else might buy a key in the next 15 minutes, increasing the timer again. When buying a key, you will earn revenue from all other keys bought after you. 40% of revenue gets shared for this. So even if you don't win the grand prize, you can get in early and while the game keeps growing, you will make money.
