Hanging up the chef's hat: It's been an exhilarating 3+ years leading the @SushiSwap team as Head Chef and Managing Director of @sushi_labs. Today, I'm announcing that I'm stepping down from my leadership role and transitioning into an advisory position (expect an official announcement from Sushi soon). I'm pleased to announce that Synthesis, led by @alexmccurryo, has made a significant capital investment into Sushi to support its long-term growth and operations, and Alex has joined Sushi as Managing Director to lead its next era. Please follow him on X to stay updated on Sushi's happenings. Alex is highly ambitious and has exciting plans for Sushi's roadmap. Over the past three years, my primary goal has been to establish a solid foundation for Sushi, provide operational clarity and direction, and help guide the protocol forward. During my tenure, we weathered a severe regulatory regime and streamlined operations. On the product side, the team built one of the industry's most distributed and performant aggregators, expanded our multi-chain reach by supporting 20+ new network launches, including @katana with Sushi as the core liquidity hub and DEX, launched Blade, a novel AMM product, announced a collaboration with @EkuboProtocol, and much more. Leading Sushi has been a dream role, and I'm proud of what we've accomplished, even though there's so much more work to do. Even though I'm stepping down from my leadership position, I remain committed to providing strategic guidance to Alex and the team. Special thanks to all Sushi team members and co-execs for allowing me the opportunity to lead. Here's to the future and to next adventures.

(not so) hot take: @aave recent drama imo shows that DAOs actually work, not the other way around. Just the perception of DAOs as happy collectives that all cooperate for a better future is dead. DAOs are ruthless power structures that allow (but do not guarantee/provide out of the box) for coordination to extract the most value out of network effects in a given system. I'm rather bullish Aave going forward. And in some way I'm also bullish DAOs going forward (although I expect they'll be used less and with more caution from now on).

“You remind me of the great Roman Emperor Constantine the Great.” An Orthodox Archbishop said this to Trump’s face in 2025 — then physically placed Constantine’s Holy Cross of Peace into his hands and declared: “With this Cross, I pray you bring peace to the world, and make America invincible.” Constantine legalized Christianity and rewrote Western civilization. 1,700 years later. Same cross. Different emperor. This actually happened. 👇 more applicable now than ever.

@witchghast Get a genetic test done. You may have a lower toxicity threshold for nicotine than others, and it can cause side effects rapidly.

I tried a zyn (I have never had nicotine before) and had it in my upper lip for maybe a minute and thirty seconds before spitting it out because I felt like my body was going to spontaneously combust I thought nicotine was supposed to make you relax what the FUCK was that

High APY is a trap without this metric. @DefiLlama just fixed another problem in their "Yields" section: the Yield Score. It’s a game changer for stablecoin farmers using protocols like @ConvexFinance where incentives are super important. The logic is simple: it measures how stable a yield is over time. It calculates the standard deviation of the yield relative to the 30d average. > Lower Score = Better. It means the yield is consistent and doesn't rely on random spikes or short-term bribes. > High Score = Volatile. You might see 5,000% today, but it’ll probably drop to 0.5% tomorrow. If you filter Convex pools by "stablecoins" and sort by the 30-day average APY, you’ll see the difference. Most high-yield pools have insane volatility scores because they depend on temporary "bribes." Once the bribes stop, you're stuck paying slippage and fees just to exit. Right now, pools from @Raacfi are showing some of the best metrics. I’m also watching @MetronomeDAO 's msUSD pools, though I need to look closer into their ecosystem. Stop chasing fake APYs and use the Yield Score to find where the real, sustained money is.

#BTC If in a few days Bitcoin manages to Weekly Close above the 200-week EMA, that would likely only temporarily postpone the breakdown and additional Bearish Acceleration History suggests there’s a high probability that Bitcoin will downside deviate below the 200-week EMA in 2026 $BTC #Crypto #Bitcoin
Rekt Capital@rektcapital

#BTC What would confirm additional downside for Bitcoin? Historically, a Weekly Close below the 200-week EMA (black) followed by a post-breakdown retest of the EMA into new resistance (red circles) has triggered additional Bearish Acceleration The 200-week EMA (black) represents the price point of ~$68300 Therefore a Weekly Close below ~$68300 followed by a bearish retest of it would likely position Bitcoin for a repeat of history with additional downside over time $BTC #Crypto #Bitcoin

I spent almost a year trying to understand autoimmune diseases once again. Do you know the most terrifying thing i realized? The single biggest modifiable lever for reducing lifetime autoimmune risk is whether a child is breastfed in the first 6–12 months. That's it.

Current recovery wave can extent entirely until ~ $80k. Don't think we'll get there right now yet though. But most likely we'll built a range between $60-80k similarly to what we had with $80-100k. But recover and not come back to the early 60s is usually VERY unlikely. When that retest of early 60s doesn't break on the following attempts? Then we can talk about increasingly large odds a real bottom is in.

Our industry as at a cross roads and I think we've all seen it recently with the hacks that have picked up since the last model release around december from all the providers. These hacks will continue and it's going to increase. We need a solution... matador.steer.finance

@jaredgrey you had a impulse down with a blowoff wick (which is exactly what you want to see) which means structurally you have to rebound (which we did). The next question is if it can break upward after touching resistance a few times or will it conclude as a dead cat bounce
