1. AHSAA and the “Task Force” need to be transparent about their investigations.
2. Public school coaches knowingly involved deserve lifetime bans.
3. The players knowingly involved in this should lose all eligibility.
4. The programs involved should receive a 3yr playoff ban.

The AHSAA announced today that Pell City will receive a fine and HC Jake Ganus will serve a one year suspension regarding "recruiting violations" As a result of these violations, any students deemed ineligible to participate in PC athletics will have to move back to the school district where their family resides to regain eligibility. - AHSAA Per the AHSAA, Ganus will serve a one year suspension and Pell City football will be fined and placed on a one year "restrictive probation" The Panthers will also receive a one year post-season ban. Ganus joined Pell City this off-season after winning a 5A State Title with the Moody Blue Devils.

@staypuftmcfly @SumrallAthletic No one is a high school official full time, ya goof! But if you’re paying someone $66/hr then they hardly “do that job for basically nothing.” And they also are compensated enough to be held accountable for obvious errors.

@staypuftmcfly @SumrallAthletic They get $100 a game regular season and $165 for the state championship games. They can make more than many coaches depending how many games they umpire through the season. The “they don’t make enough to be any good” argument is void here.
