Random thoughts on the @Mets right now: I don’t think there’s a single hitter on this team right now that would break the starting lineup in St Lucie. Bad approach. Bad execution. Bats are slow and late on almost every pitch. It can’t be real that they are THIS BAD at their job.

Watching the US - Canada women’s curling on @USANetwork How do they cut to commercial on the 6th end and skip past a 4 banger by the US!! You edit the coverage and skip the good parts! Do better @NBCOlympics @nbc

This @Mets team is hot garbage. Zero approach at the plate, just guessing and hoping they’re right. Watching strike three and swinging at pitches that aren’t close to strikes. And none of them care. Not the players, the coaches or ownership. They deserve to miss the playoffs.

@michaelgbaron at this point this team needs major changes. We are toast. No fight, no accountability and no heart. No one cares besides the rookies and it’s only because they haven’t been poisoned yet by these coaches. Better off missing the playoffs so they can fix the issues.

@michaelgbaron At this point I wouldn’t even be surprised if they miss the playoffs. No accountability by the players or the coaches. “Working hard and we’ll get through it” are the same as a hope and a prayer and neither of those can win baseball games. They stink. And they won’t admit it.

Someone on this #Mets team needs to explain how an entire lineup cannot hit a fastball right down the middle. Every night they can’t even make contact with nut fastballs. They are terrible. That’s the scouting report. Throw it down the middle and they’ll swing right through it.

@michaelgbaron They are the worst team in baseball right now and it’s not close. Not showing up, not running anything out, lazy routes to balls. Playing like they just don’t care and that’s the most frustrating part.

@DustyBakerTV Are any other teams working with a TV deal that pays them over $300M a year? No. Dodgers have a huge advantage over every other team but at least they are spending the money. Just don’t act like every other team has the same revenue stream. They can buy now and pay later.

I think what the Dodgers are doing is making a point. They have resources, they have culture, they have marketing content for years, and they have the historic element. Above all, they aren’t sitting on their hands. While other ownership groups cry poor, the Dodgers are taking advantage of the fact they have all of this to their disposal. Fans upset with what is happening should be more upset their owners are treating their teams strictly as a business while the Dodgers recognize the business and baseball aspects can be combined (i.e. Shohei Ohtani reels in tons of cash from marketing, ticket sales, jersey sales, etc.). Owners should watch what the Dodgers are doing and should be worried because they may actually need to spend money to compete. The Dodgers are proving the point we absolutely need a salary floor. There’s no reason why teams like the Mariners, Orioles, Cubs, Reds, Pirates, Giants, and Tigers aren’t spending money right now.

PGA Tour members / supporters / TV analysts: LIV golf is dumb. They have a “party hole” and a crazy crowd. That’s not real golf Those same folks: let’s dedicate 90% of our TV coverage for the waste management to the 16th hole. It’s the party hole! Everyone loves it.

@mikegolicjr Assume this would be eggs in any form? Omelettes, deviled, egg salad sandwiches etc. I could put down a dozen or more deviled eggs in a day easy, probably get half the allotment right there. Wife wouldn’t be too happy about the aftermath of that though.

sorry to this woman but I could absolutely eat 34 eggs in a day. wouldn't feel great the next day but this would not be hard.
