@collin_ruth89 @preston_holland Ya, I am saying that an automation tax has been proposed by prominent people since 2017. I think if AI starts slowing jobs, a tax will be passed to capture that revenue. It was part of the UBI discussion. Companies that are AI heavy will see higher taxes.
English

@jaredpeno @preston_holland I don't think I'm following. Basically saying that one-person companies or any company using AI will have an extra tax?
English

@collin_ruth89 @preston_holland This is why I think an AI or Automation tax is coming. AI only companies are going to be rug pulled by taxes.
English

@preston_holland My favorite is payroll tax.
Yea, let’s punish business owners for providing jobs.

This is nuts. If these numbers hold, we’re looking at a completely different model of intelligence with the Cognitum. One agentic chip.
6×6 mm. ~2 billion transistors. Under 2 watts. 257 cores spiking to 8ghz. That’s impressive on paper. But what matters is intelligence per watt.
This isn’t about FLOPs. It’s about decisions per joule. Continuous, event driven, always on. Like a brain. Mostly idle, spiking when something matters, updating state in real time instead of batching work.
Now take that and apply it to agents.
Instead of running RuFlo, OpenClaw, Codex or Claude Code on a Mac mini or in the cloud, imagine running it at wire speed directly on the silicon.
No latency. No API calls. No incremental cost. Just a local agent, always running, always thinking, always building.
That changes everything.
You can have persistent coding agents embedded in devices. Systems that monitor, write, test, and adapt code continuously. A factory line that rewrites its own control logic. A network that debugs itself. A personal environment that evolves with you in real time.
Pair it with RuVector and dynamic mincut, and now it has memory and coherence. It doesn’t just generate. It understands structure and maintains stability.
We’re not scaling models anymore. We’re embedding intelligence into the fabric of the world.

@tannerdripjobs I agree but also... the cool thing about the right AI setup is how it gives you extra dimensions of control and analysis. I'm not going to give up some of my automation tools, but I am going to enhance them with AI.

@KurtisCarman Ya, that's what guys like me are worried about. 😅
New threats everywhere!

I remember this one time I figured out how to do a real bit of plumbing in my house by using a sharkbite fitting.
I was so proud of it and bragged that I was practically a certified plumber and could start a plumbing business now if I wanted (all true btw).
Anyways, this open claw project reminds of that.
I'm a certified hacker now and can start my own hacking business if I wanted to (not even a little bit true actually).

I'm not sure how open a claw can get but we are about to find out.

@ALEngineered nobody talks about this because shipping fast gets you promoted. fixing tech debt is an unapproved budget item

@BleepinComputer this is the one that keeps me up at night. most small businesses running cisco gear have no idea this is happening right now. zero-day means zero time to prepare.
