Most likely explanation: Another F-35 was blown up by Iran, so the Pentagon staged a domestic crash by setting a frame on fire (probably from an aircraft that was already damaged beyond repair) as a staged event in order to cover up the loss of an F-35 on the front lines. They've done this with a B-2 bomber also. You'll see a lot more "accidents" like this, to cover up all the aircraft being shot down over Kuwait or Iran.
