Adm. Brad Cooper, the top U.S. military officer at @CENTCOM, sent this message to the roughly 50,000 U.S. troops directly involved in operations against Iran, I'm told.

New: The strike yesterday in Kuwait that has now claimed the lives of six US service members was a direct hit on a makeshift operations center — in what was described as a triple wide trailer — at the port of Shuaiba, a source familiar said. The strike came so quickly there were no sirens or warning to allow troops to evacuate to a bunker ahead of time. Thinking of them and their loved ones. cnn.com/2026/03/02/pol…

CENTCOM Update TAMPA, Fla. – As of 9:30 am ET, March 1, three U.S. service members have been killed in action and five are seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury. Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions — and are in the process of being returned to duty. Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing. The situation is fluid, so out of respect for the families, we will withhold additional information, including the identities of our fallen warriors, until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.

.@jaslow to @AaronParnas: "I testified before Congress...on behalf of the post 9/11 generation of veterans. And my opponent in this race, @GregMurphyMD, didn't even show up to that hearing. I have a track record of showing up" and will be "very engaged" in Congress. #ncpol #NC3
