Throughout all day I have struggled to log onto my Instagram account. Now I have been suspended. It is a small prize to pay for press freedom, but I’ve never experienced it before.

My colleague and I asked questions tonight both on why we should trust India given the human violations rights, and also about the visit. I tried multiple times to get them to be specific on human rights, but I was unsuccessful. The representatives talked about India’s effort during Covid & also yoga, among other things. My colleague has the videos so I will try to publish tomorrow.

#WATCH | Oslo, Norway | MEA Secretary (West) Sibi George says, "...We are one sixth of the total population of the world, but not one sixth of the problems of the world. We have a constitution which guarantees the fundamental rights of the people. We have equal rights for the women of our country, which is very important...We believe in equality, we believe in human rights...If anyone whose rights are violated, they have the right to go to court...We are proud to be a democracy..."

“TOUCHING THE FEET OF GENOCIDER BACHCHAN AND PERFORMING ON NOVEMBER 1 IS ENDORSING THE 1984 SIKH GENOCIDE…” — Pappi Kaur, whose entire family was necklaced to death by Hindutva death squads following the assassination of Indira Gandhi CANCEL DILJIT DALLAS — NASHVILLE — ATLANTA — NEW YORK — LOS ANGELES — SAN FRANCISCO Any Sikh who follows Guru Granth Sahib and is attending Diljit’s show must remember: EVERY DOLLAR GIVEN TO DILJIT IS ENDORSING THE NORMALIZATION OF THE 1984 SIKH GENOCIDE. CRIMES OF DILJIT: • Glorifying “Genocider Bachchan,” who raised “Blood for Blood” slogans fueling the 1984 Sikh Genocide. • Performing on November 1 — Genocide Remembrance Day — to cover up Bachchan’s crimes and normalize genocidal violence against Sikhs.

My latest for @WRMEA: Ottawa is suppressing intelligence that would expose RAW’s role in the assassination of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil. It is protecting India’s secrets for the same reason it protects Israel’s interests. The tools Israel built are being used to hunt Sikhs in Surrey. The methodology Israel exported is being executed in gurdwara parking lots. Canada is the proving ground for both. wrmea.org/other/israels-…

We are increasingly seeing a disturbing pattern online: when videos or reports emerge of Sikhs being targeted, harassed, or attacked in the West, pro-Indian accounts quickly flood comment sections claiming these incidents are happening because of Sikh support for Khalistan. This narrative is false, dangerous, and deliberate. There is no evidence suggesting that attacks on Sikhs are linked to Khalistan advocacy. Instead, this appears to be part of a broader disinformation campaign aimed at stigmatizing Sikh political expression, portraying support for Khalistan as inherently criminal or extremist, and creating fear within the Sikh community. The objective is clear: make Sikhs afraid to speak, organize, or advocate. Sikhs should remain vigilant and recognize these coordinated attempts to manipulate public perception and intimidate the community into silence.

Thank you to @USCIRF for a powerful hearing on religious persecution in India. Having silenced dissent at home with little consequence, Modi has turned his gaze to North America, where his govt continues to target diaspora activists. Here’s my testimony youtu.be/YC74YvPt4eQ?t=…

An artist is supposed to be the mirror of society. But when that mirror starts fogging up with convenience, cherry picking symbols like a desperate politician on election eve, it’s time to call the reflection what it is,pure hypocrisy wrapped in designer turbans and stage lights. @diljitdosanjh, if the #Indian_flag fits your concept and gets you those big stage hugs from the establishment, why does the #Sikh_flag suddenly make you uncomfortable? One flag gets the spotlight, the other gets the cold shoulder? Brother, symbols aren’t your personal wardrobe that you mix and match based on which sponsor is paying more. They carry blood, sacrifice, and the unfiltered pain of millions. You can’t wear one like a fashion accessory and treat the other like it’s contagious. You built careers and bank balances singing about 1984, glorifying #Shaheed_Jaswant_Singh_Khalra, and turning Sikh tragedies into cinematic gold. Fair enough, art can explore pain. But when you cash those cheques and then distance yourself from the very symbols those martyrs fought for? That’s not artistic evolution. That’s commercial betrayal. You’re not an artist anymore. You’re a content farmer #harvesting_Sikh_suffering for box office harvests, then ghosting the community when the lights come on. You can sell the story of the martyrs, @diljitdosanjh but you don’t get to pocket the profit and abandon the flag they actually died for. That’s not art. That’s grave robbing with better production value. Singing is your profession, sure. But that profession stands on the shoulders of a #Sikh_culture and history you now treat like a buffet, take the tasty commercial bits, leave the inconvenient symbols. Double standards aren’t #nuance, they’re ethical bankruptcy. You want the reverence of the Panth when it boosts streams, but the safety of selective silence when it matters on stage? Nah. @diljitdosanjh doesn’t want to be the voice of the community,he wants to be the safe, #state_approved jukebox version. Play the hits, skip the history that actually costs something. People have every right to question the flags and identities you do choose to platform. If you’re brave enough to profit from #Sikh_pain on screen, grow a spine and stand by its symbols in real life. Or at least stop pretending you’re some deep, conscious artist. You’re an entertainer with selective memory, loud on tragedy, mute on truth. Art demands clarity, not your brand of curated convenience. Guardians of truth don’t audition for approval. They don’t flinch from their own roots just because a bigger stage is calling. @sikh_parliament @WorldSikhOrg @CNN @PTC_Network @jimmyfallon @nytimes @SFJ_US_Official @SikhPA @unitedsikhs

We have a Liberal cabinet minister of Indian descent, offering tax subsidy to HCL India in Mississauga, paid by Canadian tax payers, while pushing for IT visas for Indian nationals so HCL India in Mississauga can hire those Indians. Meanwhile, Rogers are laying off Canadians and outsourcing jobs to HCL India in Mississauga. Why isn't there an uproar about this? Where is Premier @fordnation, and Prime Minister @MarkJCarney? Aren't they supposed to protect Canadian jobs? We should all write to our MPs, Liberal or Conservative. Tell them that this is Not OK!😡 #cdnpoli

Canadian Rogers jobs are getting outsourced to HCL India. Maninder Sidhu proudly, on multiple photo ops pushed for I.T Indian Visas to HCL. This is what delivering results.

BREAKING | CSIS 2025 Public Report names India among the main perpetrators of foreign interference against Canada. The report says India has cultivated covert relationships with Canadian politicians, journalists, & Indo-Canadian community members, while using surveillance and coercive tactics to suppress criticism. CSIS also affirms that advocacy for Khalistan is lawful political activity in Canada. "Historically, India has cultivated covert relationships with Canadian politicians, journalists, and members of the Indo-Canadian community, to exert its influence and advance its interests. This has included transnational repression (TNR) activities, such as surveillance and other coercive tactics meant to suppress criticism of the Government of India and create fear in the community. Given the presence in Canada of supporters of the Khalistan separatist movement, Canada must remain vigilant regarding potential TNR activities. India acts to counter perceived threats to its domestic stability, including Khalistan separatism. In Canada, advocacy for Khalistan separatism is lawful political activity," the CSIS Report states.
