Today is my Birthday 🎂 As I reflected, I'm wow... shit time really does fly haha. This has been one of the best years of my life. I have everything I ever wanted. Healthy mind and body, loving family and friends (who are also all healthy!!!), financial freedom, and a career that drives me everyday. But I think to attain all those things, I learned a lot of lessons along the way that helped guide me to success. And I'm never done learning. I'm still a newbie at this game called life but hopefully some of these pick-ups could be helpful to someone! 1) Find joy now, that way the now in the future is also joyous. 2) Time is infinite and it is finite. It's our most important currency. Find ways to stack it, enjoy it, and use it wisely. 3) We're all going to die. So take those risks, do what you want, and live fully. 4) Say thank you. Gratitude is our foundation and it's the gift that keeps on giving. 5) Say sorry. As much as we can be right, we can be wrong, even when it wasn't our intention. A simple word when you mean it can be so powerful. Being wrong doesn't make you a bad person. 6) Obsess over loving yourself. When I was younger, I would try to always give, but my bucket wasn't full then. It's easier to give now. 7) Money doesn't buy happiness, but it can buy happiness. Don't demonize it all, just make sure your methods to get it leave you joyful. 8) Don't chase butterflies, create a beautiful garden that attracts all kinds. Ikigai. 9) The view from the top of the mountain is always more pleasant with the people you love next to you. 10) There is always another mountain. 11) On your hike up on the mountain, slow down, enjoy the journey, smell the flowers (if you're not allergic) and appreciate the good conversations. 12) Health is everything. In mind, body, and spirit. Never take it for granted. 13) Train like an athlete. Functional training, get stronger, get more mobile, work on your balance. Intensely recover, sleep, diet, lower stress, breathing. 14) Bettering yourself from a physical perspective is the fastest shortcut to understanding how to do that internally. 15) You can hyperfocus on removing yourself from the matrix and rat race, but on the way, don't forget why you're doing it. 16) Never forget where you came from, love your parents with everything you have. 17) The more you love yourself, the more love you can give. It's okay to be selfish. 18) Buy bitcoin. 18b) Take risks. Just do it. But gambling on yourself is always a surefire win. 19) Always be learning. Be a student of the game. Love the game. 20) Life is a video game, so it's destined the main character will win it. 21) You're the main character. Thank you for being a part of my life guys. I appreciate you all.
