FLLoCA Success stories. It’s now evident that what started as a revolution by H.E Gvn. Wisley Rotich through the Wealth Creation Strategy is starting to bore fruits. This is one of the many success stories through the FLLoCA program in EMSOO Ward. In less than 2 years our farmers will be smiling all the way to the bank. Poverty index being reversed though the Fruit trees revolution. Let’s continue being agents of change and support H.E WCS in EMC. The Departments of Environment and that of Agriculture continues to stand tall on H.E agenda. Let’s take the lead on these revolutionary agendas and be counted @rotichwisley @ElgeyoMarakwetC @emcassembly #GavanaWaRaia

The team comprising officials from the World Bank, the Embassy of Sweden, Denmark and Germany Development Bank was hosted by Elgeyo Marakwet Governor H.E. Wisely Rotich. Mr Abraham Barsosio who is the program manager in charge of County governments' Coordination said his team was going across the country to assess the implementation of the program. Governor Rotich said the initiative had become popular amongst households because of the economic transformation. Let’s all observe the law and avoid destroying the escarpment. The fires we are currently experiencing in some parts of the escarpment are human orchestrated. I urge our residents living in the low lands (Kerio Valley) belt to avoid the destruction of the landscape through burning of the escarpment. I discourage any farmer/resident from practicing farming along the escarpment. Let’s all join hands to conserving and protecting our environment. @rotichwisley @ElgeyoMarakwetC @emcassembly
