“Sabi ko, ‘what happened?’ ‘Sir pinaalis, pinauuwi na po kami.’ Sabi ko, ‘sino?’ ‘Basta po may tumawag dito… Senator Bato wasn’t able to get the TRO baka ngayon po pipilitin ng NBI.
“Somebody must have told them na umuwi na kayo. But sino magsasabi, nando’n kami lahat, wala naman kaming alam,” dagdag pa niya.

@DrTonyLeachon And its funny how u want to call for integrity and morality when in fact all this charade was to steal senate president seat and help a fugitive to show up and escape just to prove a mockery of another instution of the government and Filipinos. May buffet service pa.

Sarcasm Versus Empathy in the Senate
In moments of crisis, the true character of leadership is revealed not in clever remarks but in the capacity for empathy. The Senate incident that shook the nation — marked by gunfire within its halls — was not merely a breach of security but a symbolic rupture of trust in one of our most sacred democratic institutions. When Senators Loren Legarda and Pia Cayetano broke down in tears, it was not weakness on display but conscience. Their grief was a moral protest against violence, arrogance, and the erosion of dignity in public service.
Against this backdrop, Senator Ping Lacson’s sarcastic comment — “Wala man lang nangumusta sa amin!” — trivializes the gravity of the moment. By painting a picture of colleagues casually eating, drinking coffee, and going live on Facebook, he reduces the emotional breakdown of his peers to a spectacle, and worse, insinuates complicity by the minority bloc. Sarcasm, however sharp, cannot heal wounds nor restore trust. It only deepens division and distracts from the urgent need for unity.
The tears of Legarda and Cayetano remind us that politics is not merely about power plays or rhetorical sparring. It is about conscience, integrity, and the courage to stand vulnerable when the institution itself is under siege. Their breakdown was a call to conscience — a reminder that leadership is not measured by bravado but by humility and empathy. In contrast, sarcasm in such a moment risks becoming a weapon of cynicism, dismissing genuine human pain as theatrics.
What the Senate needs now is not mockery but moral clarity. Leaders must rise above petty jabs and embrace the higher calling of public service: to protect the dignity of the institution, to heal divisions, and to embody compassion in the face of turmoil.
Tears, far from being a sign of weakness, are a testament to the humanity that binds us together. They are reminders that democracy is fragile, and that its guardians must be both strong in principle and tender in conscience.
In the end, history will not remember who delivered the sharpest sarcasm in times of crisis. It will remember who stood with integrity, who wept for the nation, and who chose empathy over arrogance.
The Senate must reclaim its moral center, for only then can it truly serve the people it represents.

I'm seeing some comments(wishes) of a possible Coco Martin and Marian Rivera movie.
TRIVIA: Muntik na silang magkamovie yearssss ago. Nag-contract signing pa nga eh(2012). They had pictures then. But, it never come into fruition.
RUMOR HAS IT(rumors lang naman, bulung-bulungan sa showbiz quarters ahem... 👀), some entity bought the contract out and that's why the Coco-Marian movie never happened. Someone didn't want a movie between Kapuso's QUEEN and Kapamilya's King. HAH! That's Pinoy Showbiz for you. Anyhooooo, rumor has it lang naman eme! 😉☺️🙃
Fast forward to 2026, wherein collaborations are more and more pallatable to the audience and [incorrigible] network loyalists, MAYBE it will finally happen.
Ibulong natin sa universe 🌏 😮💨

Sen.

DECLINING GOV'T TRUST?
Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano asserted that the leadership change was driven by his predecessor's inadequate response to urgent national issues, specifically the energy and fuel crises and declining public trust.
In his Facebook Live on Saturday, he denied that the impeachment was the primary reason for the shakeup in the upper chamber, labeling the criticism as "propaganda."
With a vote of 13-9-2, Cayetano ousted Senator Vicente "Tito" Sotto III last Monday, May 11, 2026.

SEN. PADILLA, SEN. JINGGOY, IIMBESTIGAHAN NG OMBUDSMAN
Sen.

Sorry ha, but I don’t think there’s any question the Senate was under attack,” saad niya.

@tattooistEF @TishaCM Ah yes, the asshole who leech from Sharon's popularity and other popular leading ladies. He has no merit, at all. The world will be better without another convicted criminal on the loose and now in power.
English

The big difference between Padilla and Pangilinan isn’t just the millions of votes separating them. Robin earned his seat on his own merits, while the other is a career politician with so-so track record who capitalized on his megastar wife’s popularity to stay relevant. And yet, like a true-blue Dilawan, Pangilinan treats Robin with a level of disdain and condescension that was on full display in the plenary.
In the eyes of the electorate, a man with a historic 27-million-vote mandate deserves the same respect as a self-styled “political elite” expects for himself.
