thirlwall.public-inquiry.uk/wp-content/upl… For anyone still bemused as to why #LucyLetby's submitted formal Grievance against her senior Consultant colleagues was kept well away from her jurors then here it is. In its entirety Read it and weep Just imagine if this had been allowed as evidence!

❓Why would an MP use up a precious PMB on a Bill that would a) cause significant division at the worst possible time and b) likely be defeated given its slender majority last time & the changed landscape since, following the decisive defeat of the Scottish assisted suicide Bill?
Right To Life UK@RightToLifeUK

📊MAD TO BRING BACK ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: 14 years of Tory rule showed divided parties fail. Reviving Leadbeater’s Bill would divide Labour MPs on the most emotive of issues. Last year, 58% of Labour MPs who voted backed the Bill; 42% opposed (likely to increase if it returns).

Can someone explain to me how cutting benefits creates jobs? I can understand how it would increase the likelihood of somebody taking an already existing job, but I fail to see how it actually stimulates job creation.

I simply cannot imagine the pain Henry Nowak's family are currently going through - there are no words, so I'm not going to try. Rest in peace, Henry.

Miscarriages Of Justice
Miscarriages Of Justice@UKinjustice2025·
In November 2016, Dr Christopher Green, Director of Pharmacy at University Hospital of South Manchester, carried out a formal internal investigation into Lucy’s removal from the unit. His findings were very significant: •There was no clinical evidence against Lucy Letby. •The only thing the consultants had was a “gut feeling” from Dr Stephen Brearey. •He slammed the hospital for treating Lucy appallingly, not being open and honest with her, and failing to follow their own values and behaviours. thirlwall.public-inquiry.uk/wp-content/upl… Read the report for yourself but if you don’t have time here is just one quote; “there does not appear to be any information that suggests LL is in any way responsible for what has happened on the unit” He went on to recommend that her grievance be upheld and that she should be allowed back to work on the neonatal unit. This report was never shown to the jury. Can everyone please answer these questions honestly… 1)Do you think the jury not seeing this report was just an oversight? 2)Do you think the report was deliberately withheld to increase the chances of conviction? 3)Do you trust the justice system in this country? Please share if you believe Lucy Letby is completely innocent, has been scapegoated and is the victim of a shameful miscarriage of justice. #LucyLetby #FreeLucy #MiscarriageOfJustice #JusticeReform

Worked with many patients who have murdered people and/or been in Broadmoor but even I am bemused by the bloke who just hardcore lost it on me for using ‘sick note’ not ‘fit note’ though I am quite literally quoting the government 🤷‍♀️

Immense damage to horse racing has already been done by affordability checks. There has been no proper evaluation of the pilots and it appears that they will be green-lighted by @GamRegGB with no Parliamentary debate or scrutiny.   The checks are directly contrary to the Government’s declared support for racing.  So I urge @lisanandy to step in and revisit an ill-targeted policy which, after all, wasn’t the Government’s in the first place. If you wondered how stupid or dangerous to its people any government in the world could be, you might be about to find out. @Keir_Starmer @RachelReevesMP @EmmaforWycombe "If the Thames deal goes through, Singer, whom Bloomberg has called “the most feared investor in the world”, will be among those controlling the water of 16 million people in London and the Thames valley." theguardian.com/business/2026/…

@Newspace14 @BebbMalcolm @BlokeOnWheels That's impossible to answer. There are 24 million people in the UK claiming benefits of some kind and it's upto each individual what they spend it on. if we switched to giving tokens that can only be spent on specific things related to that benefit I could get behind that.

@rocketdog67 @rorysutherland I never watched the UK version with Ted Rodgers, but in the early 90s watched the Spanish version in Spain. Like most Spanish TV at the time featured many comely ladies. The most salacious channel was owned by a charity for the blind, fabulously wealthy sole lottery beneficiary

@rorysutherland True story. I wrote most of the riddles for the 3-2-1 board game that came out. And yes they were a lot more decipherable than the TV nonsense.

@willhewitt1010 Can you imagine now a system that worked entirely on the honour of the punter and the honour of the bookie. Strangely we never had a problem. The end of Credit Accounts ended all that, and now things are not the same

We've gone Chinese tonight in Almaty. One thing Tun has really loved about Kazakhstan is the variety of cuisines available. And nothing breaks the bank. It's all very reasonable. In Istanbul, low-end Turkish food got monotonous very quickly and anything above that was just too expensive. In Tbilisi, we got sick of heavy Georgian food in just a couple of days. Almaty - different gravy.
