Selling my 10 year old LG 1.5 ton split AC. Quotes I got online (Amazon, Cashify, etc.) ₹3800 to ₹5,000 Checked with just 1 offline store in Delhi ₹6000 Then I got to know, people easily pay 7-8k also. Online markets don't always give you the best deals.

@we_are_cult why cult store doesn't have option to pay using gift card and wallet? We can pay using these methods on cult app but not on cult store. I raised support ticket multiple times but always closed without any resolution.

Police issued a ₹10,000 pollution fine… on an ELECTRIC VEHICLE ⚡😂 ❌No engine. ❌ No emissions. Still “polluting” according to them. Even after explaining it’s an EV, they refused to listen instead started adding MORE fines (tinted glass, etc.) just to justify it. Asked someone from the industry whether foreign investors are still interested in allocating to India. The TLDR: Interest has pretty much died out. India is seen as geopolitically exposed, especially to an oil shock. There are no real AI plays. Valuations are rich. And the rupee situation doesn't help. On top of that, investors who were sitting on gains have taken money off the table and are now looking at markets like Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Europe etc instead. He also pointed out that our LTCG/STCG structure and the increase in STT have made India less attractive compared to other markets that are seeing inflows. If we need to attract FPIs back, and we do, fixing this feels like pretty low-hanging fruit.

Axis bank I’m genuinely disappointed. Walked into an Axis Bank branch just now to check for a Burgundy upgrade. The folks sitting there had no clue about the eligibility criteria. “Sir, you need to open a new account.” “Sir, give a ₹5 lakh cheque.” I’m like… what? I literally had to pull out the Burgundy eligibility PDF and show it to them. And even after that — straight denial: “Sir, this is not in our system.” 🤦‍♂️

Absolutely. But let’s not ignore what they’re getting right: 👉6X on many genuinely useful vouchers 👉100% flight redemption via iShop using points 👉90% hotel redemption via iShop using points 👉Access to premium lounges So, is it dead? Not even close. The world doesn’t start and end with Amazon Pay.
