As part of the leadership in Nairobi, you will hear no excuses from me. Yesterday’s flood situation was an indictment. We know it’s a sum total of many failures but mostly failures of leadership. We must do better because you don’t deserve this. For all those who slept on the roads, those counting loses from the flood damage poleni sana. Sadly, the County disaster team has confirmed to me that multiple lives were also lost. My office has sent out teams to assess the situation and see how we can help. Meanwhile, It is obvious that we need a comprehensive review of how the city drains because the piecemeal interventions are not working. I extend my deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones last night. Poleni sana.

How to force Luos to Join Kenyans; —The 2002 Playbook In Good Faith, Kambas should accept Kalonzo is likable yes, but too soft for the battle ahead. Prime CS for him is a fair deal. Kisiis should accept Matiang’i does not have enough political experience to outmaneuver a sitting president. Matiang’i should be thankful amepewa Jubilee. Atapata wabunge wengi sana, na ministers. If Sifuna manages to retain control of ODM, we revive and rebrand Azimio. DCP Joins a rebranded Azimio. DCP Produce President- Riggy G ODM Produces Dp - Sifuna Thats 70% of Kenya. How do people not understand this simple math? And before you call me tribal, I’m not even Kikuyu. I come from a marginalized community.

MY brother Edwin W. Sifuna. I will address you in two phases. Here now and here later. My brother, it was such a time in 1969 that they assassinated Tom Mboya at the age of 39. It was such a time in 1975 that they assassinated JM. Kariuki at the age of 46. It was at such a time in 1990 that they assassinated Dr. Robert Ouko at the age of 59. May God protect you.

This has nothing to do with Baba's Legacy. Sifuna is our son but we need to have an honest conversation. Where is Baba's Portrait and ODM colours? Hii ni Pesa ya Kijana ya Jomo.

The Man That Sold Our Nation, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. When Emilio Mwai Kibaki handed power to Uhuru Kenyatta back in 2013, our GDP stood at 4.75 trillion KSh. Kibaki, a profound and smart economics graduate who had been poached from Makerere University to enter politics as a young man, managed to steer Kenya’s economy from 2% in 2003 to 7% in 2007. Although the economy took a 1% hit due to post-election violence in 2008, it averaged 5% growth from 2009 to 2013, when Emilio left office. Emilio Mwai Kibaki left office in March 2013, leaving us with a public debt of just KShs 1.8 trillion. Just imagine that, huh—just 1.8 trillion, no odious debt, no nothing. During this period, the National Treasury covered 90% of our annual budget. This made the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund offices in Nairobi almost irrelevant (unlike now, where the IMF drafted the Financial Bill 2024). The Corruption Scandals Under Uhuru Kenyatta (2013–2022) 1. The Eurobond Scandal (2014–2015) — $1.2 Billion Stolen Kenya, under the leadership of Uhuru Kenyatta, raised $2.75B through a Eurobond. $1.55B was deposited into Treasury accounts, while $1.2B was redirected and deposited into a Qatari bank account. Despite numerous investigations by then-Auditor General Edward Ouko, the missing $1.2B was never found. As we normally say in Kenya, iligulwaaaa. 2. The NYS Scandal 1 (2015) — ~ KShs 791 Million Stolen Y’all remember Anne Waiguru and her hairdresser, Pauline, who was carrying stacks of money in sacks. I bet we all do. Waiguru was the CS for Devolution and Planning, appointed in 2013. Waiguru, being a sharp girl, orchestrated one of the “best” corruption scandals in this nation’s history. Through fictitious procurement contracts, nearly KShs 1.8B was stolen in a scheme involving senior National Youth Service officials and businesspeople supplying air to the NYS. Guess who was never prosecuted in a court of law? Your guess is as good as mine — Waiguru. Nelson Githinji (then Director General of NYS), Peter Mangiti, and businessman Ben Gethi were charged with embezzlement. However, as y’all know, corruption cases in Kenya don’t go far, and the culprits are rarely punished — actually, they walk free and become richer. In 2023, Wendy Micheni, the Chief Magistrate, acquitted them for lack of sufficient evidence. That’s Kenya for you. 3. The Afya House Scandal (2015) — KShs 5 Billion The Ministry of Health scandal at Afya House involved approximately KShs 5B allegedly lost through fraudulent procurement and financial mismanagement. Details pointed to systemic loopholes, inflated tenders, and ghost payments within ministry systems. AfroSinema will continue shortly…

Let me remind Wamunyoro Bloggers - Ababu was a firebrand. He actually swore with BABA'S name during his swearing in at parliament. He was very eloquent and spoke with aura. Man was dalling of the youth and ODM was big under him. Same fate that befall Ababu await Sifuna.

This was a display of scientific ingenuity and patriotism. This guy (The Sprayer), devised an innovative solution during the RejectFinanceBill2024 demonstrations. The Sprayer seems to have a profound understanding of: -The Theory fluid dynamics -Emergency response & Basic First Aid Skills -Public resource optimization -A deep commitment to the well-being of fellow citizens. -Maximizing the reach of a single tank of water to as many Citizens as possible -Not expecting a return or a financial gain to the good service This, Wadau, is the spirit of innovation and patriotism in service of the nation. He is a Hero to be celebrated on Mashujaa Day.
