Back to the day job on Monday. Here's what I shipped during my vacation, between naps and family time: Spun up my first VPS and moved all my bots there. ClipBlitz, BlitzBrief and Ethos Coach now run 24/7 as systemd services. Enrolled in the Apple Developer Program. My first iOS app has its core structure ready. Still lots to polish, but it exists. All of this with a baby at home. Slow progress is still progress.

Beginning July 20, Claude Fable 5 will be included in all Max and Team Premium plans, at 50% of limits. Pro and Team Standard users will continue to have access to Fable via usage credits, and will receive a one-time $100 credit. Demand for Fable has been challenging to predict, which is why we rolled it out to subscription plans in stages, extending access several times as we secured additional capacity.

Was about to buy a Mac Mini to host my bots. Then I ran the numbers: the machine itself, plus electricity, plus running 24/7 for a project making €0 so far. A €7/month VPS wasn't even close. Bots run on Hetzner now. My apartment stopped quietly turning into a space heater.

@MarkVillacampa Thought they'd drop Opus 5 to make up for it, a bit better than 4.8 and burning way fewer tokens, to compete with OpenAI. Guess they don't have something like that ready yet, and like you said, they didn't have much choice.

@XMihura Pensé que sacaban Opus 5 para compensar, con un rendimiento un poco mejor que 4.8 y quemando mucho menos tokens para poder competir con OpenAI. Cuando han decidido mantener Fable es que definitivamente están jodidos.
