@MiamiCanes1971 u can’t tell me in good faith that the episode was a 1/10. ppl love resorting to criminally low ratings whenever they want to make some sort of point

Translucent’s skin is diamond-hard and explosion-proof from the outside, yet an internal C4 blast (from a bug in his ass) blows him to pieces. The explosion should’ve been contained or not affected his exterior that way.

@AbaiGiven84044 And this force comes from the ground, which supports both your weight and the weight of the bar. So for lifting the plane Homelander would have to fly with a force of at least 775000 Newton. So he is strong, yeah, but not that much.

@AbaiGiven84044 Bro, that's basic high school physics. Newton's third law: action equals reaction. For example, when you do a deadlift, you're lifting the weight of the bar. But in order for you not to simply fall into the ground, an opposing force has to act on you.

You guys defending this with “it’s just physics bro” in CS are funny If Homelander flies with reactionless thrust — basically acting as his own engine/anchor — why does he suddenly need “something to stand on” to lift a plane? Bro literally hovers mid-air, changes direction instantly, and carries people while flying. At that point his power is basically levitation or mini telekinesis. He could’ve slid under the fuselage, pushed gradually, and stabilized the plane. That “there’s nothing to stand on” line was complete bullshit. He just didn’t care enough to try because he was lazy
Gin@AbaiGiven84044

If Homelander says he can’t lift a plane because there’s “nothing to stand on” in the air… then how does bro stop mid-air and instantly fly again from a complete standstill?

Is Homelander actually capable of causing an Armageddon-level catastrophe… or have fans been massively overrating his powers this whole time?🤔 Because outside of terrorizing civilians and weaker Supes, we’ve never really seen him operate on a true world-ending scale.

@cartmansfinsta Not exactly. It's simple physics. If you want to lift a 100-ton airplane, you also need 100 tons pushing you up. It's possible on earth surface, but not in the air. Homelander isn't that strong that he can fly with 100 tons of power. So it actually makes sense, blud.

@ihatemeen_ Bro, he wasn't beefing directly with the baby 😭. He was just anoyyed that stillwell gave the baby all of her attention rather than himself or the business. It's like saying you have beef with drugs because your friend is drug addicted. Doesn't make sense.

I genuinely think that anyone complaining about Homelander "losing aura" just didn't watch the series or actually have no media literacy whatsoever

@PhilDL616 Narcissistic personalities with antisocial features respond to losing control with rage, escalation, or defiance. Never submission. The writers broke their own character to serve a narrative agenda, giving the audience a satisfying image of a broken, groveling Homelander.

@PhilDL616 Homelander was built from the ground up as a textbook narcissist with sociopathic traits. A person with that psychological profile does not beg for their life when they lose power. That is not opinion, that is clinical fact.

Some of these Homelander tweets have to be rage bait cause there's no way some people are this dense lol When you beat the bully, you expose that he was never really scary. He was just a coward all along. That's the point.

@SmackdownLayer @ThisIsNotDSP Homelander was built up throughout the series as a narcissistic sociopath. From a purely medical standpoint, he would never behave like that. It was just terrible writing.

There’s MANY things to criticise the Boys Finale and Season 5 for but the morons on this app decided that Homelander going out being a pathetic manchild coward after being portrayed as one the entire show was the thing to bitch about and not the ONE thing the writers got right 🤣

@GamingEelektros @ShayaanShamim @avoiiiiiid @wyalucid Bro, that's not how psychology works. He was built up throughout the series as a narcissist with a socio-agitated personality disorder. From a purely scientific point of view, a person would never behave like that in the finale, even if he lost everything.

@DezuRose @WigglyCath He was first and foremost built up as a narcissist with a sociopathic personality disorder. People as such would never ever beg for their lives, even if they lost everything. It's just really bad and lazy writing.

@false_imcome @HandOfTheKaiser @jerr_rrej Why in the hell would any straight guy even assume another man wants a blowjob from a guy? Only an absolute sexpest or Hollywood shill (I repeat myself) would think about that. It's poor writing for the sake of dehumanization and demoralization of the class being caricaturized.

@Deep6Deep6 @jerr_rrej Yes, it says a lot about how much someone values character logic. Homelander, who throughout the series was portrayed as someone with narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial traits would never have behaved the way he did in his final act.
