While i know twitter accessibility has taken a hit, both Quinter and Mo-Tweet are still working fabulously for me. If/when they go away, fine. But, I won't be exiting on the assumption that they're to be disappearing, as many have. I'll wait until it becomes a reality.

Good lord! i cannot believe how difficult it is to find a quality USB stereo microphone adapter. Everything is mono input. You'd think, with all the itnerest in vlogging, ASMR, VR, etc, this would be a more common thing. Recommendations extremely welcome!

Interesting how many people want to spout off on podcast shows regarding features of various products, when they haven't yet seen them, and/or discussed such features with the companies themselves. Seems similar to complaining about being fat but not dieting or exercising.

Would someone please tell me why every single freaking blindness forum has to turn in to a complaint fest about what is wrong with the world, users' personal circumstances, etc? Is it really so impossible to civilly and maturely discuss the topic for which the list was created?

@doug_lee42 @aaron_h2002 @remixman I assure you, both are true. Not always great about clarifying my points on Twitter, but when I suggested standards, I wasn't just meaning the standard of how "Braille" is rendered, but general English language standards.

@jaxler @aaron_h2002 @remixman Didn't know ASL is capped when spelled out, and I have no reference on medical instruments springing to mind. Interesting point in any case.

It's been standard practice in America to cap Braille for as long as I've seen it written, so good luck with that "braille" Institute. Having said that, quite sure, since it's named for mr. Braille's proper name, it is in fact, correct to capitalize it.

@aaron_h2002 @remixman Well, i can accept that much more readily than "People should be able to do whatever they want". However, it could be argued that "American Sign Language" isn't a proper noun either, and yet it is always capped. And most medical methods and instruments named for humans are also.

@jaxler @remixman My reason for not is simply that it is not a proper nown. Also, this also simplies that the word print should be capitalised when used.

@remixman @aaron_h2002 I do think it follows general rules both in terms of proper names and standard capitalization of most language and communication methods. And, I will always do it for that reason. If you don't want to, that's fine. But do or don't based on reasonable conclusions.

@jaxler @aaron_h2002 Some people in the ACB tried to propose a resolution to capitalize Braille in that organization. Apparently, it didn't pass.

@aaron_h2002 Sorry, I did mention proper name grammar, and I stand by that. But, it's really not worth arguing over. The other thing I would say is, if you're going to make a statement like "people should be able to do it how they want", you really ought to have reasoning to back that up.

@jaxler Peopel can cap Braille if they want to cap Braille. But if they don't want to cap braille, they don't have to. No one should be trying to set a hard and fast rule on this.

@aaron_h2002 I don't believe I did, I just stated what is standard. And, whether it is right or wrong, it is, in fact, rather standard. So, chill out please.
