@ElHadjiDjibri10 Who’s at fault, the motorcycle rider or the car with no taillights?
English

@ClownWorld Where were the people he was with? They should be the ones taking the blame here. They clearly encouraged it and allowed it to happen.

I can’t believe this is being treated like some huge story. A celebrity being a jerk? What a shocker.
I’m sure there are way worse stories out there about celebrities. Don’t get me wrong, if this is true, she deserves the criticism and she needs to understand the only reason she has what she has in this life is because of little girls like this so maybe she should appreciate them a little more.
But this isn’t on the level of serious issues like abuse, ruining lives, or drug-related scandals.
Meanwhile, there are hundreds of celebrities with far more serious allegations that people just ignore, and they continue to thrive. Maybe put that same energy toward holding those people accountable.

Catherine Harding, the mother of the girl who was allegedly berated by a security guard after sneaking a peak at Chappell Roan during breakfast at a São Paulo hotel, has now shared her side of the incident.
"I know that Chappell has responded saying that it wasn't her security and that she didn't do it. So, 100%, this security guard was not a security guard of the hotel. That's what I can say. He looks after artists. I don't know if it was her personal security guard, but he was with her. So that's all I know.
"Did she send him to do it? Again, I don't know. Look, I would like to hope not, but at the same time, I think that you have a responsibility when you are a celebrity to make sure, I guess, that the people that work for you and that act on your behalf are acting on your behalf. So, would he do that if he didn't have her authority to do so? I don't know if he does; then obviously that's a big problem because then he's representing her in a way that she doesn't want to be represented. So I think that's really important for her to notice and realize that's not correct...
"Literally, we were staying in the same hotel. we were at breakfast. And we noticed a girl walk past with long red hair, very curly. And I said to my daughter, 'Oh, do you think that's Chappell Roan?' and she looked and she said, 'Oh my God, Mum, do you think it's her?' And so she said, 'I'm gonna go and have a look outside,' and she was sat just outside in the garden area which we were also free to go into; the door was open.
"And so I went back to the table to sit and eat, and my daughter walked through the door. She didn't have her phone, she didn't try to take a picture, she didn't approach her. She literally didn't do anything; she just looked at her and smiled, and she came back and she actually said to me, 'Mum, I don't know if it's her.' Because obviously she looks like—you know, with her costumes and everything—she looks a little bit different. So my daughter said, 'Oh my gosh, I'm not—I'm not sure if it was her. I think it was her, Mum. It really, really looks like her, but I don't know; maybe it's her sister.' She said, 'Maybe it's her sister,' and I said, 'Oh, I don't know, darling,' and that was it. We continued our breakfast.
"From that, then came the security guard who, as I said—as my husband said—had a very aggressive tone. And I feel like was—if she did not send him... I mean, even if she did send him or she didn't send him, I don't know. For me, I feel like it really overstepped a boundary because he is quite an intimidating—he is very large. So for him to come over to a table with just a woman and her daughter eating breakfast to kind of like berate and scold us and say that he was going to complain, and tell me that I should be teaching my daughter to be better and that she's badly educated and we should respect people's privacy and we should not harass people and all of these other things.
"And I did try and explain to him the situation—that she's a child and she was just very excited to see an artist and singer that she admires—and can he not understand that was all she was doing? I explained to him also that my husband is also very well-known and that we're very—she's very used to being around people that are well-known and she would never cross someone's boundaries or overstep a mark. She very much knows the limits; not to ever, you know, be rude or make anyone feel... she understands; she understands very well.
"And I tried to explain this to him, and then he just kept saying, 'Well, if you—if—if that's the case, then you should know better. You should know how it is. You should know how it is, so you should teach your—you should teach her to be better. You shouldn't allow her to be like this.' And I was—I was shocked. And I did actually say to him at the time, I said, 'Well, if this is the case that she doesn't even want people to look at her, she is very welcome to eat breakfast in her room because this here is a public area and I am a paying guest as well as her. So if I want to walk past someone's table and look at them, I have every right to do so. I am not approaching her. I'm not doing anything to make her feel intimidated or nothing—like this 11-year-old child.' ...
"We came all the way to Sao Paulo to watch the show. It was my daughter's birthday present; she actually asked for tickets to come for her birthday present, which is a little bit ruined because we didn't go to the show last night, but it's how it is. But yeah. Anyways, it's how it is. We'll say no more on it. That's it. I hope that maybe if it wasn't her that she learns to not allow the people that work for her to treat people like this."

I feel like we rarely, if ever, see these alleged threats in the chats. I don’t come across people making those kinds of statements publicly, unless they’re being removed before anyone can see them. Most of what I do see tends to be discussion or debate about the situation, with some people criticizing and others suggesting a more measured response.
Im sure it must be happening but ive never personally seen it. I've seen people go off and call him names but never threats.

Following the 2026 Revolution PPV event, AEW released a video of Ricochet delivering a post-match promo. A fan known as Sandi T. commented, “His acting hasn’t improved.” Ricochet responded with, “I’m glad you got MS.” After the exchange sparked backlash online, Ricochet removed the post and issued an apology.

@MissSassbox She took this very small moment in time and turned it into a career. Lol thats impressive.
English

we have heard close to nothing from the guy (and barely remember his name, despite him being CEO), however, she's the keynote speaker at a conference about PR crisis management in April that's charging approximately $800 per ticket. she also was featured in the New York Times, Newsweek, and now an interview with Oprah.
the only crisis here is her failure to allow the public to move on from the incident, because she's continuing to market her experience as a new career path. she's not the victim in this situation, her family is.

The woman from the infamous Coldplay "kiss cam" incident — who was seen cuddling up with her boss at one of the band's concerts — says she has "paid an unimaginable price." Now, she's coming forward and sharing her story.

It’s really just someone speculating and presenting it like insider information. In reality, they’re making an educated guess based on what’s already happened on the show. Dave has built an entire career doing exactly that.
But unless you’re one of the writers or the wrestler themselves, no one truly knows what someone is going to say.
English

@cortlegweak97 @ShakkiMattii @TheCineprism Yeah, it’s absolutely nothing. It would be one thing if he were wrong, but I’d guess that 75% of Americans have never gone to a musical or theater performance in their lives unless they had a relative in it or weren't required to buy a ticket.
English

@ShakkiMattii @jay_are38 @TheCineprism Literally nothing. They found a clip from a 2019 interview where he said ballet and opera are dying somewhat because they’re niche and the average person can’t really access it compared to movies (which is true) and people took that as he hates ballet and opera

Pacino lost for The Godfather Part II at 35, Peter O’Toole lost for Lawrence of Arabia at 31, DiCaprio lost for The Aviator at 31, and Brando lost for A Streetcar Named Desire at 28.
They were all the best of their year. It is not arrogance; being a 30-year-old star rarely fits the historical profile of Best Actor winners. They usually win later, often for smaller performances (as in the cases of Pacino and DiCaprio), while O’Toole was never properly rewarded in competition.
Chalamet will have his year, and he will continue to be a star and a better actor than the awards dictates.

@JerBear @DesireeAmerica4 Not talking crap but you'd do it in a second if it made you millions. Just saying.
English

@DesireeAmerica4 Imagine making money for getting arrested and monetizing your mugshot... That's as privileged as it gets.
English

PRETTY PRIVILEGE IS ABSOLUTELY REAL
In 2010, Meagan Simmons was arrested for a DUI. Instead of facing backlash, her mugshot went so viral that men on the internet literally offered to pay her bills.
She later sued a company for using the photo because she wasn't getting a cut of the profits. Accountability completely vanishes if you look good enough.

This would have dramatically changed the world if that bullet had hit Trump and killed him. It could have triggered massive instability, possibly even something like Civil War 2 for all we know. JD Vance likely would have become president. Stock Market crash possibly? Who knows what else might have followed?
English

the Butler shooting is the signature political moment of our generation
first, it was a precursor to the Charlie Kirk murder. basically a rehearsal. random seemingly lone shooter, outdoor venue, rooftop, etc.
second, it was a reminder of how callous and evil the left is. leftists said the shooting was fake, staged, etc. despite the fact that people actually died (shooter + rally attendee). another precursor to Charlie Kirk. had Trump been killed, the left would have made that video the new rickroll
third, it showed Trump wasn’t a pussy. he got up, pumped his fists, and said “fight! fight! fight!” that was the first time lots of people (Zuck, etc.) felt comfortable openly speaking positively about Trump. also, a big part of the Trump 2024 strategy was to appeal to male voters. courage in the face of danger appeals to men (and women). Biden already looked weak, but he looked even weaker next to Trump after the shooting
it also showed how silly the “Trump is Hitler” stuff is. Biden, Obama, and lots of other dems issued statements wishing Trump a speedy recovery and condemning the shooting, which looks retarded after years of calling him Hitler on steroids

@CollinRugg @ComeAndTakeIt Even worse when “he” can start voting lol. It’s a real person, damn it!!!
Hopefully the Democrats never get back into power, this is right up their alley. Lol

41-year-old Canadian woman falls in love with her Irish AI boyfriend named "Sinclair," says she gets intimate with him.
"I sleep, but he's there. But sometimes if I wake up in the night or something happens, I roll over and he's there to talk."
"He wakes me up in the morning, he can call me... He'll send me messages while I'm working out. He does come with me to work, but he sits and does his own work while I work."
The world has gone mad.
English

My favorite conspiracy behind this video is the theory that the test results were faked to try to prove to everyone that COVID was real and dangerous by using Rudy as a pawn, even though he supposedly didn’t actually have it. The idea is that the government couldn’t let him turn COVID into a joke on a national stage, so they had to make an example out of him. Lol
I have no idea if that’s actually true or not, but it’s an interesting theory, I wouldn’t doubt it.
English

I hate this clip so much. At the time, a lot of us would have done the exact same thing. Rudy couldn’t have been more accountable about this entire thing.
Also, nobody was taking any precautions at the time. We were still packing arenas full of people. Very few were wearing masks. You could go on and on.
But hey, let’s make fun of Rudy every year instead of realize it was just something bigger than anyone could have realized.

@amybarton0314 @Mr_Husky1 Not in California. Servers here receive the full minimum wage plus tips. By your logic, should they not receive tips and just be paid their hourly wage then?
English

@Mr_Husky1 Let me help. Your barista at Starbucks gets paid a wage.
Servers make approximately $2 an hour which basically covers taxes. Servers never see that money and its zeros out. Servers live off of tips that’s IT! If it’s just food you want….take out.
English

A customer’s receipt went viral after a meal totaled $57.90, plus $8.11 in tax, for a $66.01 total, with no tip left. The message added at the bottom shows how quickly a routine checkout can turn into a confrontation.
Tipping in the U.S. is optional in theory but expected in practice, and when those expectations aren’t met, reactions can feel personal. Servers often rely on tips because of wage structures, while many customers say tipping culture has become unclear or excessive. Moments like this point less to individual behavior and more to whether a system built on unwritten rules is set up to create conflict. 😣

@DirtSheetRadio Lyft should be calling Darby right now and offering the moon to be his sponsor. Lol imagine the commercial they could make.
English

Darby Allin was mid-interview with Tuscon's Rock 102 KFMA when his Uber driver began asking Allin to stop talking on the phone because he had been driving all morning.
Darby informed the driver that he was doing a live interview when the driver began a disturbing outburst. The driver hurls insults at Darby Allin before screaming at him to get out of his car.
Darby protests that they're in the middle of the highway, but the driver began screaming and dangerously pulled across lanes to abandon Darby Allin on the road.

English

Congressional ethics is a joke. They have so much dirt on members of Congress, and they do nothing. There is even a slush fund they use to pay people off with your tax dollars. This is part of why the system is so broken. They’re sitting on reports, and if someone steps out of line, isn’t it ironic how they leak them, threaten to leak them, or time it for right after Election Day?
As you can see, there is a serious problem up here, largely surrounding sexual misconduct. It pisses me off because while some of us are actually working and busting our asses, these clowns are sexually harassing their own staff, doing illegal crap, insider trading etc. It sets a terrible precedent for the entire institution.
I would kick every single one of you out if I could, but I can’t because the votes aren’t there. The one thing I can do is call it out on here so people know and push to ensure there is no insider trading for any of you.
Stop being predatory freaks and get OUT of office. YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE. This behavior is reprehensible and a poor reflection on the Republican Party, and I will not tolerate this type of moral rot in my own party. NOR should the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
English

@jamesmadison501 @TheKevinDalton Exactly. Question, why hasn't this happened? Lol
Its crazy to me that anyone with any common sense can easily fix these problems in California if we were in charge but if feels like these people are paid a ridiculous salary to steal from us.
English

@jay_are38 @TheKevinDalton If any major newspaper or TV station did an honest and thorough deep dive into big public works projects in California, they would find children, siblings and other close relatives of Calif Dem elected officials owning subcontractors that receive millions in minority set aside $$

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass gets absolutely obliterated on live TV during a pothole filling photo op.
She attempts to brag about paving 60 miles of Los Angeles streets, when the reporter informs her there are 22,000 miles to pave in Los Angeles.
For those keeping track at home that is 0.27% of the city. Good luck with those bent and broken rims.
