Last week, I made a post sharing advice/an opinion that I had regarding broadcasting how many fulls you have. Some of my agent peers agreed with me. Others didn't, and that was fine. I had a bit of a chat with a friend about my post and decided to take the post down.

If you're sitting on a manuscript waiting for the right moment to query, I want you to understand: the "right moment" in traditional publishing doesn't exist right now.

Recently, an agent excitedly requested my full novel ms. I was so excited! But time passed, I didn't hear anything. You're not supposed to bug them but I finally thought, Screw it. I need to check in with her. It's been two months. I just got an automatic reply: She's no longer with the agency. 😣

@Kristinartz My dogs used to. I turned on all lights and gave them cuddles poor loves. My cats do worse, but it's cleaned up, as are they, as family members and soothed.
