A 7-month-old baby was shot and killed today in Brooklyn — an unthinkable loss.
I’m grateful for the hospital staff who did everything they could and the NYPD for their ongoing work to find those responsible for this heinous murder.
We cannot accept this violence as normal. Too many families have suffered this pain.

Time is running out to save 925 affordable homes that are going up for sale. 3,000+ Philadelphians are counting on their City to step up.
We're in a good position: my People's Preservation Package has given us the legislative tools and time we need to develop a plan. And thanks to the City's HOME Initiative, we have more funding for affordable housing preservation.
All that's missing is the will to act. I hope Mayor Parker will see that investing in affordable housing for more than 3,000 Philadelphians is worthwhile.

@DemetriusH63711 @KiuiAirica I’ve lived in all 3, now in Chicago. Philly and Chicago are both great places, but I feel the need to stand up for Philly more because its perception vs. reality is even more far off than Chicago’s. Most people know Chicago is great while Philly is vastly underrated
