So, we moved into a new house recently and there's loads of kids my daugther's age here. However, they all exclude her and run away every time she asks if she can join them. I reached out to the parents in the neighbourhood letting them know, asking if they could talk with their kids about it, as she has been very closed up and scared to try again in fear of another rejection. Today they finally asked if she wanted to come join... just to show her a video recording of them saying they don't want to be friends, and that she doesn't fit in. That one stung, for both of us.
