Still wondering how dating apps keep printing money… 🤔 Like seriously, there are already n number of apps out there… yet every new one walks in and somehow becomes a gold mine 💰 What’s the secret here… love or just really good business? 😅

Thinking of building and shipping micro web apps in a few days… Goal: escape the 9–5 and go full focus on my own stuff 🚀 Only one small issue… Do I have an idea what to build? …no 🙂

@Sarinmsari Hey buddy just gone through the flow and its good.. Add on: do give a light theme too... And also do categorise fixes, updates, addons and summary more specific (adding a clear persona fixes it) yep that's it and the flow is quite impressive... Good 👏...

@jayasurya_rd31 That’s exactly what we’re trying to fix, making docs come directly from code changes instead of being derived later. It’s live if you want to try it on your workflow penqwin.com

What age did you decide to start building something of your own instead of just working for others? I’ll go first. I’ve been doing both since 21 to survive. I’m 23 now 🙂 #buildInPublic

I’m building a product for local people and honestly, defining the approach is taking the hell out of me. It’s making me think like them, live like them, just to understand their mentality. #buildInPublic #StartupLife

@jayasurya_rd31 that immersion is actually the hard part nobody talks about. Most people skip it and build what they think locals need. You're doing the work that makes the difference. it gets easier once you stop trying to understand and just start listening.

@jayasurya_rd31 Living like them isn't empathy. It's data gathering. When you ship, that data becomes unfair advantage because you understand context they can't articulate.

@jayasurya_rd31 that’s actually the work most people skip, if it feels uncomfortable, you’re probably getting closer to the truth

@jayasurya_rd31 That's the hardest part, but also the most crucial. The deeper you go, the more authentic the solution.

In business, my first lesson: You don’t “manifest” a $1M business from your bed. You actually build something… a product, a service, even a simple medium Basically: Stop dreaming like a CEO Start working like an unpaid intern...

It’s not even a live product yet, and the issue isn’t just onboarding. We had a clear vision for the end product, but somewhere during development, the delivery drifted in a different direction. Now it needs a proper restructure before it can truly hit the market. Simple rule: if you’re not satisfied with your own product, how can you expect your customers to be?

@jayasurya_rd31 respect the honesty but full rebuilds are dangerous. patching the worst 3 onboarding steps ships in a week and you keep momentum. rebuilds can quietly kill startups

What we did took guts. We went straight to users, gave them the product, and got hit with the truth: Onboarding sucks. The product looks modern, even gamified… but the flow? Feels old-school. Dashboard, analytics, workspace: disconnected experience. So we made a call: Rebuild. No rush. No ego. We’d rather take time and ship something users actually flow with. Note to builders: It's a buyer's market now. If you don't understand your user's pulse, you're just building noise. #BuildInPublic #startuplife #dailylogs

Just wanted to share a small journey update with you all. Back in mid 2025, when we first decided to build a product, we were confident that we could finish and launch it within 3 months. After spending time finalizing the scope… we ended up ghosting our own plan 😂 Then our focus shifted to another idea which required a lot of capital, distribution, and a bigger setup. We thought we could pull it off, but soon realized we weren't ready for that level yet, so we paused it. After that, we even tried entering the course space 😂 Started the journey with full energy… ended with 0 sales. By December 2025, our mindset became much clearer. We went back to the same product we had originally planned, started building again in Feb 2026, and surprisingly it took almost the same 3 months we had estimated in the beginning. Now things are different than 2025. The market has changed, expectations have changed, AI usage is not the same and so the product also needs upgrades. The good part is, the foundation is ready, the flow is clear, and now we understand both what we want to build and what people actually need. We'll share more once we go live. Thanks to everyone who stayed around during this long and confusing journey 🙃 #BuildInPublic #StartupJourney #BuildInCommunity
