@jaybird8287 @AustinCEckert Couple minutes ago the guy couldn't shoot now he's a great scorer. I'm not going to panic on day 2 of portal mania knowing that Adkins and Stokes might give us quality starters and Punch and Rosario might be first two off the bench. Thiam, Estrella, Punch great options.

@SteezeOG @AustinCEckert He’s a stud and can score very well. Will still need 3 guys that can stretch the d if he’s on the court with a 5.

@jaybird8287 @AustinCEckert Right....but he's not going to be playing guard or 3 unless Bill lands a couple studs to play at the 4 and 5. So worrying about his 3 percentage and being all gloomy is silly. He would already be a step in the right direction.

@SteezeOG @AustinCEckert Three pointers is what I meant. Looking at potentially 4 and 5 who cant shoot threes. . So 1-3 better be able to. Ku fans are a bit anxious on this topic for good reason

@jaybird8287 @AustinCEckert He ranked 8th in the Big12 for shooting percentage. He averages more than everyone but DP from this year on KU. Did you watch he play at all? No one is saying sign him and be done but he's a great option to start building with.

@jaybird8287 What about both? That group I mentioned with the incoming freshman class (especially if Stokes picks KU) would be pretty solid. Still room for a couple more, too.

It’s a long road in the portal for players & programs alike, but man are there some really talented dudes out there. Call it my Big 12 bias (same one that usually kills my bracket) but KU adding Punch (TCU), Wright (BYU), Johnson (CU) & Diop (ASU) would be a Big 12 all-star team.

Kansas big man transfer Flory Bidunga's list (as of now) is Duke, Michigan, St. John’s and Louisville, source told @TheFieldOf68. The 6-9 sophomore averaged 13.3 points, 9 boards and 2.6 blocks this past season for the Jayhawks.

@DRoc4eva @JayhawkSlant At this point I'm out on Stokes. Since the roster is getting almost completely rebooted, I'd rather get proven players who produce with those $$$. Stokes could be a dud for way too much $$$.

Do you want Kameron Taylor at Kansas next year?
KJ@KJScouting

19 year old 6’7 Guard Kameron Taylor is one of the most intriguing longterm NBA Draft Prospects. For the season Taylor averaged 19/5/3 while also averaging 22/4/3 while shooting 47% from the field an 35% from three on 5 attempts a game in Big South play. Taylor is one of the quickest players in college basketball at 6’7 who uses his mix of speed, first step, and vertical athleticism to be one of the most intriguing scorers in college basketball. Taylor uses his athleticism to get to the rim and draw fouls at an elite level, where he shot 59% at the rim on 188 attempts. Taylor is also a high level mid range scorer for his height who also has great touch on his floaters. Taylor’s mix of athleticism, pace, and versatile scoring helped him be one of the efficient PNR scorers in CBB where he finished in the 90th percentile in PNR play on 103 attempts. Taylor is also a skilled passer for his height who can create scoring looks for his teammates, or find an open player with his passing vision, Taylor also does this without turning the ball over. Taylor’s mix of 3 level scoring potential, athleticism, defensive upside, free thro drawing, pace, and playmaking for his size and age is extremely valuable and he has one of the highest ceilings of any player in college basketball. Taylor was one of 5 underclassmen in CBB this season who had an AST% of 15, make 35 threes or more, and had 15 dunks or more, joining AJ Dybantsa, Cam Boozer, Nolan Minessale, and Tyler Tanner.

One thing I noticed about this game is that both Illinois and UConn are running offenses. So, it is still a thing.
