So funny seeing Instagram traders flex “I just made $4,000 today in a few minutes” Whole time it’s just a 1:2 RR trade on a $200k challenge But people on Instagram fall for it anyway and try to buy their course 😂 Winning trades on prop firm accounts don’t mean anything - payouts are the only thing that matters And even then, payouts only matter if they’re much more than what you’ve spent on the challenges

Just received my first payout from FTMO. 💰 Two years ago, I was denied a $120,000 payout from a prop firm. I remember how discouraged I felt, each $400k account back then cost about $1800 so it was a waste of time and money . It almost made me walk away from prop trading entirely. This year, I started again. Passed a $200,000 account with Titan Capital… only to be denied the funded account without proper explanation. At that point, I had two choices. Quit or focus. I chose to focus so I went all in with FTMO, literally my first set of accounts with them . Today marks my first payout here with FTMO and definitely not the last. Sometimes the setback isn’t rejection. It’s redirection. We keep going.

I built this version of myself through pressure, mistakes, repetition, and discipline. Here’s what changed… 1. I stopped trading for validation. I don’t care who’s watching. I don’t chase reactions. I just execute. Emotional detachment changed everything. 2. The market doesn’t reward talent it rewards control. My strategy only worked when I stopped working against myself. 3. I became a risk manager, not a gambler. Lot size, stop loss, total exposure I calculate everything now. No more emotional sizing. 4.I stopped forcing trades. No chasing, no overtrading, no revenge. I wait for direction and alignment. Momentum does the heavy lifting. 5.I finally understood prop firms: they’re a psychological game AND a system game. Master both and you’re unstoppable. 6.I became self-aware. I can now separate market movement from my own fear, ego, and impatience. That alone saved me months.
