Did you know that Jacob was burried in the caves with Leah and not with Rachael? He chose the quiet wife. Not the one he cried for. Not the one he worked fourteen years to win. Jacob—yes, that Jacob—was buried beside Leah, not Rachel. Let that sit. In Genesis 49:29–31, as Jacob was nearing death, he gave strict instructions: Bury me with my fathers… in the cave… there they buried Abraham and Sarah… Isaac and Rebekah… and there I buried Leah. Leah. Not Rachel. Rachel was the love story. Leah was the covenant story. Rachel had Jacob’s passion. Leah had his promise. Rachel died on the road (Genesis 35:19). Leah was laid to rest in the family grave—the sacred line of promise, the lineage of God’s covenant. And here’s where it cuts deep— Leah was the unwanted one. The overlooked one. The one Jacob never chose first. But God did. From Leah came Judah—and from Judah came Jesus Christ. Let that shake you. The woman who was second in a man’s eyes became central in God’s plan. But here’s what we miss… We chase being “Rachel”—desired, seen, validated. But heaven often builds legacy through the “Leah seasons”—the places of rejection, quiet obedience, and unseen faithfulness. Jacob’s burial wasn’t just about love. It was about alignment. At the end of his life, he didn’t choose romance— he chose covenant. And that’s the Gospel whispering through the dust: God doesn’t build His kingdom on human preference. He builds it on grace. Leah’s story screams this truth— You don’t have to be chosen by people to be chosen by God. And through Jesus, the greater Son of Judah, the rejected become redeemed, the unseen become eternal, and the unloved become fully known. If you feel like Leah today— forgotten, overlooked, second place— hear this: God sees you. God uses you. God writes history through you.

@onifadelee @Chude_ND1 My oh my! This is a woman to be with. She understands the dynamics of relationship and companionship, which is majorly lacking in the Nigerian context. "My money is our money." She gave her partner room to improve himself, and as the man, he knows that he will have to step up.

Another side of the road people don’t talk about: PASSENGERS. Let me be honest today… Sometimes, the struggle is not just government, unions, or police. Sometimes… it’s the passengers too especially women. If I start narrating what we face with mostly female passengers daily, I don't think I will be able to complete it before this month ends. Easter Sunday Night, I carried 4 passengers. From my park to my last bus stop — normal route, normal fare: ₦300 (everybody knows this already, and we always say it before you enter). One woman dropped about 3 minutes before the final bus stop. She brought out ₦200. I calmly told her, “Madam, please complete it.” That was how problem started. — Insults. Shouting. Argument. She said she won’t pay more than ₦200 because that’s what she feels the distance is worth. Not the agreed fare. Not the standard route price. Her own calculation. — She was even ready to fight me. Over ₦100. ₦100… after everything we go through on this road. — It took a passerby (a man) to intervene and pay the balance. You would think that ends it, right? Even to tell the man “thank you”… problem. — See… This work will humble you. Because you will meet all kinds of people. People who don’t care what you’ve already spent before carrying them. People who don’t respect the agreement they accepted before entering. People who believe you don’t deserve to be paid fully for your work. — And the truth is… We can’t fight everyone. We just move. Swallow it. And continue. — That’s why I said earlier: This job is not just physical stress. It’s mental strength. Because every day, you’re dealing with: The system The road And human beings All at once. — I’ll keep sharing more of my daily experiences. Because at this point… It’s truly survival of the fittest.
Obidient Peter@Onihax

Follow up on my experience as a Keke rider; After my last post, many people messaged me saying, “Ahh, we didn’t even know it was this deep.” But honestly… I still didn’t finish talking. Let me expose another side 👇🏽 STICKERS. In this job, you don’t just drive… You survive by stickers. In Lagos State, you must buy: • Local Government sticker • State sticker • Zone sticker • Plus 2–3 others depending on your park chairman’s “decision” Each one? Minimum ₦2,000 and above And it doesn’t end there. Last year, they introduced another one: ₦10,000 sticker ₦2,000 registration Compulsory membership ID If you don’t have it? NURTW taskforce will stop you. You’ll pay ₦10,000… and still won’t be given the sticker. Another one catches you again? You pay again. Until you finally “comply.” Tell me… is that business or punishment? — Now come to Ogun State… It’s even another level. You have 3 different unions: • TORAN (Tricycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria) • TWORA (Three Wheeled Owners Riders Association) • ROTO (Riders and Owners of Tricycles and Trikes of Ogun State) Each one has its own taskforce. Each one has its own sticker. Each one must be settled. Then add: • Hackney Permit (state own) Each sticker? ₦2,500+ And if you don’t buy early in January? Price jumps to ₦5k – ₦7k per sticker Same sticker. Different price. No explanation. — Let me shock you more: A ticket that clearly says ₦200… You’ll end up paying ₦1,000+ No receipt. No accountability. Just pressure. — Some junctions in Ogun? Police will stand there like toll gate. You pass → you pay They give you number That number now becomes your “evidence” that you’ve paid. Miss that point? Another officer will collect again. — And people still say: “Just work hard.” — Let me add what many transporters face daily (not just me): • Harassment and intimidation by taskforces and unions • Multiple illegal levies and duplicate tickets everywhere • Union extortion without real support when accidents happen • Rival unions fighting and forcing riders to pay different groups • Violence, threats, and clashes within the system itself So it’s not just “your area”… It’s a nationwide problem. — Now the painful truth: Many of these people doing this… Are backed by power. Which is why it continues. — But what can we do? We cannot keep quiet forever. Here are realistic steps I would advice if possible though not realistic: 1. Document everything Record, take pictures, keep evidence. Silence is what keeps this system alive. 2. Push for single-ticket system One verified daily payment. Not 10 different collections. 3. Digital receipts If payment is real, it should be traceable. 4. Government accountability If unions are working with government, then government must regulate them. 5. Driver unity The biggest truth: Division is their strongest weapon. 6. Public awareness Passengers need to understand why transport costs are rising. — Because at this point… This is no longer “transport work.” It’s survival inside a system designed to drain you. — I’m not writing this for pity. I’m writing this so people understand: When you see a keke rider on the road… You’re not just seeing a driver. You’re seeing someone battling: The system The unions The road And life itself All at once. — Respect the hustle. It’s deeper than you think.

6 Businesses You Should Not Do In Nigeria If You Want To Live Long This is not really business advice — it’s a warning about your health. In this country, some businesses won’t just stress you… they can affect your blood pressure, your peace of mind, and your mental health. If you already have health issues, please think carefully before starting any of these. 1. Public Transport Business (Danfo, Keke, Bus, Logistics) I ran this business for 3+ years managing 40 vehicles and using over 200 drivers in 3 years. So, when I talk about this, I know exactly what I am saying. You wake up with hope. You sleep with frustration. Drivers will: Travel one route and report another Buy fuel at ₦30k and bring receipt of ₦70k Damage your vehicle and say, “Oga, na brake fail” Add police stops, LASTMA wahala, mechanic, road conditions... You will start the business smiling. In 6 months, your doctor will know your name personally. 2. Building Materials Supply (Cement, Iron Rod, etc.) One day price is ₦5,500... Next week it is ₦7,500... no explanation. Customers will: Price you like you are their enemy Delay payments for months Blame you for market changes you didn’t create Meanwhile, suppliers are increasing prices like they are chasing something. 3. School Business (Low/Middle Income Areas) This one is emotional stress + financial stress combined. Parents will owe school fees for 2–3 terms Teachers want salary every month (rightly so) Government policies can change anytime You will be running a “ministry” instead of a business. If you are not strong mentally and financially, this business can drain you quietly 4. Poultry Business This one has sent many people into prayer and panic. 15 years ago I had a poultry with over 700 birds. If I tell you that poultry business can kill you before your time, just believe me. Why poultry can raise your BP: Feed price can jump suddenly Birds can die in large numbers Disease outbreak can wipe out months of effort Weather affects production Egg prices can crash when supply is high Medication and vaccines are not cheap Imagine feeding hundreds or thousands of birds every day with rising cost... only for market price to refuse to cooperate. You are spending money every single day whether sales are sweet or not. That kind of pressure is not for the faint-hearted. One bad cycle can humble even a very confident entrepreneur. 5. Forex Trading/ Crypto Do you honestly want me to talk about this? I doubt if you are ready for it. No business in this world is as volatile as forex. Forex is not just a business. It is an emotional rollercoaster disguised as opportunity. The market can move against you in seconds You can lose money faster than you made it Profit today... loss tomorrow News, policies, global events can affect your trade instantly Please, don't go near if you have any sort of health issue related to BP. 6. Event Planning / Rentals (Chairs, Canopies, Decorations) Everything looks glamorous on Instagram... But behind the scenes: Clients will price you till your ancestors feel it They will delay payment till the event day After event, half your chairs will vanish Rain can scatter everything in 10 minutes. And guess who they will blame? You. It’s not that these businesses are bad. People are making millions from them. But here is what nobody tells you: 👉 Some businesses require strong emotional stamina 👉 Some require tight systems and controls 👉 Some require experience and street wisdom If you don’t have these... you will pay with your health. Simple Rule: Before you enter any business in Nigeria, ask yourself: “Do I have the temperament, structure, and strength for this?” Because in this country, profit is not just about money... it is about survival. If this opened your eyes, share it. Someone needs to see this before they “invest” their BP into the wrong business. © Kenneth Uche

Do you still remember how people slept in cyber café in the early 2000s? When there was nothing like romance scam aka internet fraud (yahoo yahoo) among young people. When young people went for overnight browsing which cost about N100 to N150 then. You would definitely find this various categories of people in cyber cafés then: 1. The very serious and studious young lads who have come to learn more about admission process in foreign universities. These were the admission seekers. 2. Those that have come to innocently chat with international friends on Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger. No scam intention back then. 3. Those that have come to send virtual greeting cards to their crush living in another state or town. 4. Those that were trying to get familiar with internet usage, and needed more time such as overnight browsing to explore. 5. There were also some spoilt boys that were coming to overnight browsing to watch porn movies and view photos of naked women. I remember one guy in my area back then. We usually met at the cyber café, and each time I peeped into his computer screen, what greeted me was always the naked photos of women. I kept wondering why someone would sacrifice his sleep just to view naked women. Did you also attend overnight browsing at cyber cafés?

Please don't judge me😞 2025, I had a Video shoot with a Media house. Shoot was in the morning/afternoon , after hours of shoot and being tired , I was driven to my hotel which was at Lekki. Later that night, my friend pulls up and says. Hey Sina! Let's go get a meal. I said sure. I pride myself as being a gourmet and I always love to try new meals. So he suggested we visited, one of the luxurious restaurants which was located at Admiralty Way, Lekki. My friend is also friend with a very popular content creator in Nigeria, so I met him at the restaurant, few talks. He asked what are we getting? Well, I go.. I'm not sure, He says. His fave is one special spaghetti..something.. something... A very fancy name That we should try it. Okay.. I guess if he made the recommendation, I'd believe since he does food content on Instagram, etc We got our meal and I headed back to my hotel. I decided to eat, a friend was with me. Few spoons. I noticed the food tasted somehow but I kept my cool. It was so expensive I was using side eye to look at my friend to see maybe he too will complain, by the time, he too couldn't take it. He just blurted.. He said Bro!! This food is tasting spoilt , I said yes. I thought it was me only . We had to trash the rest of the meal. Next day, My driver picked me up from the hotel in the morning because I was travelling to another state. I was in the car in Lagos , I felt a little Boborygmi but I thought. Oh well! Just the tummy having its pangs. By the time, we got to that Mowe side. It was as if there was Battle of Waterloo in my stomach. I sipped a little water. What was going on? Another 20 minutes or thereabouts, haaa. The movement in my stomach was increasing. I was sweating, then...then.. It was as if a liquid wanted to come out from my Anus Haaaa... Liquid poo on the highway. I mustered all my power, I used force to squeeze my butt ( you know what it mean) I tightened it like spanner. I was redirecting so much pressure to stop the poo from coming out. Haaa. It was as if the watery poo was determined to trickle out. I had to tell the driver to stop. You won't believe on Lagos- Ogun expressway. I had diarrhoea and was stooling. Damn. I had to run to a bush beside the road. It was as if my water burst. The kind of poopoo Yorubas call Igbe Olomi sororo was dripping out. The mound of watery poo that came out, you'd think I was making an ice cream platter for a patter. I stooled to the point that I was weak I had bottle water which I used to wash up. I had never felt like that , apparently I had suffered from Food poisoning, I was weak in the car and after we got to our destination I had to get medical treatment Till date, stooling in a bush on Lagos Ogun express high way is my most embarrassing moment Please don't judge me😞

Okay, let me share my awful experience in one of these so called luxurious hotels. It was a Tuesday I was going to be in Lagos for some meetings in Ikeja. Asked people which hotel was cool and luxurious. Someone suggested a High brow luxurious hotel, when I got to Lagos I headed to the hotel. Paid 100k for the day, after I entered, loved the ambience, it was given luxury downstairs. My room was on the second floor. The hotel concierge helped with my luggage and also the key card that unlocks the room. We proceeded to the elevator, I closely followed the concierge at the back, we strolled down the hallway. Lights automatically came on as we walked. I was impressed then I was taken to my room. What???????!!!! I explained For 100k per day. Is this what I get?? The room was so small, different from what was shown on their site. I almost lost my cool. It was like a slice of cake. The kind of Room Marie Antoinette will see and shout. " Let them have cake" You literally can have a claustrophobic trigger if you were there. I maintained my calm. I was tired from my previous flight, so I decided to sleep a little. Went to the bathroom, tried looking for hotel supplies like toothbrush, paste, soap etc which I believed was statutory. I didn't find. Rung the reception that it seems they forgot to put hotel supplies in my room, she apologized that they will send someone. Waited for close to 30 minutes. Next for 1 hour, by then it was getting to late evening. Then I went downstairs to complain that I called earlier for toiletries and I hadn't gotten any. I got the most hilarious response. The receptionist told me, that they had run out hotel supplies for a while and they had not gotten toiletries supplies. And the hotel restocked. What??? I WAS SHOCKED. Really No toothbrush, no paste, no soap and you had the audacity to say that. Luckily there was a supermarket, few minutes close by, I walked there to buy toiletries , since the hotel that billed 100k per night could not provide basic toiletries. Next morning, it was time for breakfast. Food was so annoying Worst hotel breakfast I have had. Out of anger , I just left the place. Checked out and went elsewhere. I called my friend who was also pissed and disappointed with the level of service. It was nothing close to my expectation. The name of the hotel is IBIS HOTEL, IKEJA. I will never recommend them. Looks luxurious but trust me, you won't get premium experience

For those living in Lagos, these are the cheapest realistic areas for a decent 1–2 bedroom (self-con or mini-flat): ▪︎ Badagry/Epe/Ikorodu/Ojo = ₦400k–₦800k per year for a 2-bedroom flat. Epe/Ikorodu still serene-ish, with growing infrastructure (better roads, some rail links). ▪︎ Agege/Alimosho/Mushin/Ajegunle = ₦700k–₦1.2m per year. Vibrant areas, markets is nearby, but you'll deal with the traffic and noise. ▪︎ Ogba/Ipaja/Egbeda/Iyana Ipaja= ₦400k–₦800k for mini-flats/rooms. Close to Ikeja (20–45 min commute), this is a good place for traders and professionals. ▪︎ Shomolu/Ketu/Bariga= ₦800k–₦1.5m. Live within your means.
