Not sure there is anything more powerful in nature that connects one to the significance of humanity on Earth than a volcanic eruption. I was honored to be there May 18th 1980.

I discovered the news immediately while watching Sunday morning cartoons. Woke my parents up. We lived a quarter way up the highest hill in Kalama. We drove to the top. From a freshly cut logging road we could see the eruption with an unobstructed view. The most remarkable hidden aspect of the eruption was the sound. You could feel it in your chest. When viewed with binoculars, the velocity of the ash exiting the mountain was incredible. The mud flow destroyed river communities like the Toutle River as it made its way down to the Columbia River. The flow from the eruption dumped so much sediment in the Columbia, it made the shipping channel unnavigable. To this day driving on I5 over the Toutle River bridge you can still see the results of the eruption sediment flow. The Army Corps of Engineers got to work dredging the sediment from the Columbia River to open the shipping channel. But what to do with the sediment being sucked from the river? The Port of Kalama has plenty of property along I5 at the Kalama River Road exit. My dad was the steward of receiving tons and tons and tons of river sediment onto the wetlands of the port property (controversial). The sediment was used to create an industrial foundation. A new grain elevator was built (Peavey at the time), and a new steel mill (BHP at the time). It continues to be a foundation for industrial growth to this day. Driving on I5 you can still see the sediment dumped onto islands on the Columbia River. And you can still see the sediment used as an industrial foundation at the Exit to Longview on I5 (after decades a building was finally built recently). The incredible devastation and human cost from the Mt St Helens eruption was actually turned into the foundation for jobs and industrial growth in SW Washington.

@demystifysci This is just the Munchaussen Trilemma at its core you can always ask "why" to any set of axioms, and even when you find a new set of more fundamental axioms that explains "why" now you're left with new axioms that you cant explain en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%BCnc…

This letter has always messed with me because I have come across mil/civ “cadre” groups in my investigations. The term “cadre” was unique to this arraingment, but no official proof was discovered. Then I saw this document using the term in an official manner. It gave veracity to the group’s claims. It’s been two years since I let go of this investigative plank. Interesting evidence just brought it back. Signature Reduction Cadre System Mil/Civ Attachments Domestic Operations

@JayFratt Records lol it’s glue covered mental collage 🖼️and not everyone’s favorite art style. I’m about half way through Johnny’s episode and I have to take a break cus the matrix is calling. I’m not sure yet what it all covers, just that reading that cadre paper feels like sky diving.

@WittySailor This will be my last engagement on your feed. Thank you for sharing. I think a novel of the sea for the c with nuggets to help them see would be an excellent adventure for you. Absolutely with side tales of stow-aways.

Interesting. I still question the diagram scenario of wheels and waves. It’s an individualized struggle. Perhaps linear and smooth for some. But I do grasp the need for analogy for the sake of discussion. My push back is in the vein of the old cliche, "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach"

@PragmatistLeon @JayFratt It's most certainly an inside out process. It cannot be forced in any meaningful way. It must be natural, but yet the individual really doesn't control the wheel. It comes in waves, and there is nothing you can do to avert the process. Jung has given guidance, but that's it.

Save your Inner Child to save yourself, and perhaps, to finally break the cycles that have quietly followed you for years. Carl Jung believed that the Inner Child is not merely a collection of old memories, nostalgia, or childhood wounds. 👉🏻 It is a living part of the psyche, something still present within you, quietly shaping your emotions, relationships, creativity, fears, and the way you move through life as an adult. Many of the struggles we carry, anxiety, addictions, self-sabotage, emotional numbness, or painful relationship patterns, can sometimes be understood as the silent cry of an inner child that was never fully seen, protected, or understood. For Jung, the Inner Child represented potential, authenticity, innocence, and wholeness, the most genuine part of yourself, the part that still longs to feel safe, alive, curious, and loved without conditions. Healing does not come from abandoning that child or forcing yourself to “grow out of it.” It comes from reconnecting with that part of yourself gently and honestly, listening to its needs, validating its emotions, and allowing it to become part of who you are, instead of something hidden away in the dark. Don’t leave her or him abandoned and alone in the dark... go rescue them. Video: youtu.be/kqaTRCsBepY

@JayFratt @PragmatistLeon Principle and faith become just another program if they're not forged in that overwhelming fear. The prescription fails because the person is still trying to control the cure. I don't believe a rule book is adequate, it's an individual experience. My journey is my own.

@JayFratt @PragmatistLeon Idk if it can be taught. It must be felt. A kind of sickness that overcomes, and a moment of fear that overwhelms and forces the inward journey. More than just an epiphany, not a lightbulb flickering on, but a calling, a distant voice ringing in your ear.
