Look at the map. The Strait of Hormuz is not an ocean. It is a narrow corridor right under Iran’s guns. Even if it is opened by force: Ships must pass within minutes of Iranian coastline. Slow. Predictable. Exposed. Missiles, drones, mines all within range. This is why even today, ships are refusing to sail traffic has collapsed from over 100 a day to almost none Naval escorts cannot guarantee safety. You can open the Strait on paper. But no captain will risk a one-way journey.
