@robsmith87 @BenKay5 @NHS @thecsp Basically we are caretakers is the lungs. We clear out mucus blocking them, help strengthen chest muscles or teach control over breathing. If we can’t clear them we help to get the most out of what is working, like positioning, proning, ventilation, O2 therapy & loads more!!

I've always understood Tourettes but watching this was difficult. Such an infliction for not just the children but the parents. Education and research is the key to overcoming this condition #tourettesfamily

@jodie79 I sincerely do hope that your children never develop this condition. As your lack of insight, compassion, common decency and willingness to learn about something you simply don’t understand will seriously affect their mental and physical health.

@swilliams73 @mrscazgeary I no them too. They have TS. I have 2 kids with TS. I know a couple of hundred people with TS. I just spent this afternoon at a TS support group. I think I’m qualified with lived experience. What qualifies you? 50 mins of a doc on c4?

@mrscazgeary Wow you really must care to run a statistical analysis of the likelihood they have Tourette’s! 1% of the population have TS. Each one is different as TS coexists with a huge range of other conditions. You are talking out ur backside. They have TS. My kids have TS. We no. U don’t

@ViennaL199 @em_came @kate_pattullo TS has a range of other conditions that comes with it. Like autism, OCD, anxiety, ADHD, ADD. These weren’t covered in the documentary cos the focus was on Tourette’s . I know this family through the Tourette’s support network. He does have Tourette’s.
