I’m sorry, I used to think the “conspiracy theorists” were just nutters. This week I’ve decided we were conned. Hear me out. That 1969 spacecraft I watched on my black and white TV had less computing power than your wristwatch, less than some thermostatic controllers I have on my walls. This week NASA sent a $93billion spacecraft to *orbit* the moon, just orbit, in preparation for an actual moon landing in a few years time. Why on earth would it take us 57 years, and a $93b test flight, with the compute power and comms facilities we have today, if we’d already done it successfully, once before, with so little, 57 years ago. Nah, I’m now with the conspiracy theorists.

This may be my Britishness speaking but unless you’re in a club or something this kind of behaviour is inappropriate in public whoever is doing it and you will get a side eye. I wouldn’t take a video though. I don’t know who took this video but when I did kiss a bloke like this *in a club* (and not a “gay club”) some people did watch, and some clapped. One even came and told me how brave I was. 🫠 Most of the time it’s people looking at something they don’t see “in the wild” not “homophobia”. But mostly - I don’t think people should do this in public at all really. I don’t want to be involved in your foreplay scene thanks.

While I make fun of British food as much as I can I have to admit that the Full English is a wondrous creation. Some Americans will complain about the black pudding but not me. It's just blood sausage, and every single nation in Europe has some version of it. Heck even Mexico has moronga. I do think that Britain's blood sausage version is only middling compared to the rest of Europe but whatever. The thing that bugs me is the baked beans. Seriously? I will happily trade you the baked beans for more mushrooms or perhaps a little tub of English marmalade (which is A+ another thing Britain rules at).

It's easier to learn young. I live in Western Macedonia, Northern Greece we have 3 ski resort around us, i used to ski as a child, now I'm so scared ill break my legs. In fact children ski for free at weekends during the winter here. It's unbelievable how these people don't really live. Get out. Go to a ski resort. Look around you. Kids in snowboards, the latest winter olympic snowboarders are 16-17 years old.
