@jratcliff You said evil, not him. It's not common sense. That's just your opinion. Emotional arguments not technical

This is disingenuous. The Bitcoin Network already performs extensive validation on transactions. Yet Adam doesn't refer to these validation rules as censorship. For example, the op return limit used to just be a configuration option. People correctly pointed out that it was not a consensus rule. So the suggestion was made to make it a consensus rule, and now suddenly everyone in favor of this very common sense proposal is an evil person in favor of censorship? The tortured language that has been used in this debate is quite frustrating. There has been a lot of gaslighting through semantics.
Adam Back@adam3us

"the Internet views censorship as damage and routes around it" - John Gilmore (cypherpunks list co-founder) the Internet, like bitcoin, is ungovernable: you can't build checkpoints, moderate content, cant stop spam via protocols. that's why hashcash exists: a market solution!

PROF. JIANG PREDICTS CRASH OF GLOBAL ECONOMY IN 2027 YouTube's Professor Jiang predicts that within a year, attention could shift from the Iran conflict to a devastating global economic downturn. He argues that the unwinding of the yen carry trade will lead to stress on global liquidity, and a popping of the inflated AI and private credit market bubbles. This could trigger a broader financial crisis marked by unemployment, bankruptcies, and stock market declines.

@ShooterMcHodlin @TFTC21 @DrJackKruse Also he's an alcoholic. I learned that when shitcoiners are consistently talking over your head, it's not because they're smarter than you. Same logic applies here but with the added tactic of being rude

hi, @StubHub you scammed us. we bought our tickets MONTHS ago, excited to go to our first world cup, we paid extra to get better seats thinking we picked middle tier / decent seats only to be put ON THE LAST ROW. when i say last row, i mean right up against the wall. I was closer to the birds than to the ball. We were up so high the wind didnt even blow there. Why do i say its a scam? Because our tickets changed days before the game. Literally we got reassigned days before.

In general I have been extremely skeptical that any real disclosure is actually going to happen. So far I seem to be on the right side of that bet. All we are getting to date is a heaping pile of gaslighting. That said, there's been one development that doesn't entirely make sense. People who were formally extreme skeptics are doing an about face even though all *we* are getting is blurry videos of balloons. What's up with that? Don't tell me these folks all changed their minds based on the hot garbage we have been seeing for the past couple of months?

Every single ad on this UFC fight is for betting platforms. This sucks. People promoting these platforms suck. Gambling accelerates societal decline. Sports betting keeps you emotionally occupied so you don't revolt or do something meaningful.

@BitcoinNewsCom Holding operators liable because a victim was scammed is ludicrous. No one expects that of any other money transmitter. Stopping people from getting scammed is incredibly hard. Many times, despite intervention they insist it's a legitimate transaction
