i think a lot of people are going to be busier (and hopefully more fulfilled) than ever, and jobs doomerism is likely long-term wrong. though of course there will be disruption/significant transition as we switch to new jobs, the jobs of the future may look v different, etc.

The future class divide will not be rich vs poor.
It will be:
People who own agents, compute, equity, and automated production.
And people who rent access to agents owned by someone else.
UBI is the patch.
Universal ownership is the actual solution.

GPT-5.5 feels like the first model in a while that is not just impressive on paper, but actually changes how people build, write, code, and think.
