Conflict isn’t good or bad. It’s how it’s handled. Handled poorly, it lingers and weakens trust. Handled well, it strengthens trust and relationships and leads to solutions and forward movement. Leaders with relational intelligence don’t get stuck in emotion or ego. They focus on resolving the issue, not winning the moment. A CLEAR™ approach keeps conflict productive and contained so teams can move on instead of carrying it. Conflict doesn’t derail organizations. Unresolved conflict does.

If you want you and your team to get better then you have to commit to getting better by asking these three questions every day. 1. What went well? 2. What can we do better? 3. What did we learn? Truth + accountability = growth.

School culture isn’t built on the “one.” It’s built on the many. 👊 the many times we encourage a student 👊 the many ways we support each other 👊 the many moments we choose to believe in the good work happening all around us Culture grows when we refuse to let one negative moment define the whole story.

Most people fail to master skills because they chase perfection instead of just getting the reps.

When a student fails a quiz, or a test, or a project… what would compel that student to get it turned around for the next one? I’ll tell you one thing: the relentless encouragement and support of a teacher. Props to the teachers who never give up on their students.

The best culture strategy? Get personal. One-on-one conversations build trust faster than ever. Ask. Listen. Learn. When staff feel seen and heard, they show up with more heart. Connection drives commitment.

The bottom line: You don’t have to choose between kindness and candor. Lead with warmth. Course-correct with honesty. The right emotional timing doesn’t just feel better—it delivers results. Want your team to perform better this year? ➡️ Express genuine positivity—early. New research reveals why the timing of praise and feedback is just as important as the content itself: 🧵
