@RealBookerScott I think it makes more sense to take SS as early as you possibly can. if you add all the money up vs how long you will most likely live it's not even close.

If you're close to my age and considering SS retirement you should know about this.
Over the last few years, the full retirement age has been gradually rising as part of a 1983 amendment to Social Security. Starting in 2021, the full retirement has been growing by two months a year. So for those born in 1955, it changed to 66 and 2 months in 2021. Then, in 2022, the retirement age for those born in 1956 changed to 66 and 4 months, and so on.
When the calendar changed to 2026, we reached the penultimate increase to the full retirement. Now, those born in 1960 or later have a retirement age of 67, which you may not actually hit your full retirement until next year.
I was born in '66. My full retirement when I started working was 62, now at 60, my full SS benefits start at 70. I can still receive benefits at 62, but about half of the 70 amount.
Just passing it along and Im not particularly in the mood to see all the comments about how there shouldn't be social security. I have worked over 40 years and have 10 more to go, it appears, so keep your thoughts to yourself.

@sourpatchlyds Psychological warfare on your child can be just as damaging. Trust me coming from being raised by a very passive aggressive mother. I popped my kids when they were younger. Now it's take stuff away and literally make them do work to get it back. It works for our family.

@WhiteHouse @mevans5729 Zero investigations, indictments, arrests, or even so much as a parking ticket for Epstein’s coconspirators. As Melania said, Epstein did not act alone.

@MargoinWNC In my experience insurance in general is a Ponzi scheme. It never covers what you need and you are punished for using it with higher and higher premiums.

Most of you don't remember when working for a company, you had free healthcare.
I can remember when we got an email saying we had to pay $50 a paycheck the first year of Obamacare.
Now I pay $750 a MONTH FOR ONE PERSON with a $10,000 deductible and a $50.00 copay-and they get to decide what drugs I get through an approval process annually.
Health insurance is a rip off.

@mypoliticalx Hopefully they can hit a decent selling point. They have no built in wifi or cellular antennas, they don't report back everything you do. Easily customizable and should be dead simple to work on without extensive mechanical knowledge.

@WallStreetApes I really hate this. I run a small pool business and the system we use for billing forced us into this. We use to cover the cost. It was switch over or lose the ability for our customers to pay their accounts online.

Target locations are beginning to charge customers the “merchant fee” on every item they purchase
This is the cost of credit and debit card processing fees
Big box retails like Target have paid these fees in the past but has decided to now pass the cost onto the customer
There was a major legal change with the ‘2025 Visa Mastercard interchange fee antitrust settlement with merchants’
This settlement gave retailers more legal leeway to stop fully absorbing fees and start passing some costs to card users

@RepThomasMassie 2 trillion was always the deficit prediction. Not good but not new news.

@CMATZRUN @beinlibertarian Insider trading doesn't work when they report 30 days after the trading and if they don't report what they are trading you do know the horrible punishment they get right. A whole 200 dollar fine.
English

@beinlibertarian I agree to everything except congressional trading. I suggest people follow congressional trades and click and paste said trades so we regularly folks make money too following the insiders.
English

- Repeal all gun laws
- National Constitutional Carry
- Reduce spending by 1%
- Eliminate the income tax
- Stop the cycle of endless war
- Stop protecting companies that poison people
- Stop Congressional insider trading
- Arrest the Epstein network
Things Republican voters want that the Republican Party won’t do

@AmericanVsGov What would be different from what they are doing now. Republicans have been a lame duck for 20 years.
English

Might as well at this point.
He literally has nothing to run on.
Midterms they lose control of the House and Senate.
So the last 2 years will be a lame duck presidency.

@TRHLofficial My wife and I got a late in life surprise with a new bundle of joy. My oldest just graduated college and my youngest is about to be 18 months. The joys of being 43!!! Figured why not have kids in 3 different generations.
