Let’s have a serious conversation, why hasn’t the Oaklawn Handicap been upgraded to a G1 but races like the Big Cap and Jockey Club Gold Cup get to keep their G1 status solely off history and nostalgia 🤷🏻♂️
Those two races have drawn abysmal fields in recent years, where as Oaklawn has offered top prize money which clearly attracts better horses and creates better races. They should be rewarded with a G1 status just for that
Anyways can’t wait to see Round 3 of Sovereignty and Journalism with the Vet White Abbario 🔥🔥🔥
