@WallStreetApes Boomer here: This is all true but the real killer today, aside from dumb degrees, is the cost of a house went from about 2 or 3x annual wage to about 8x. A lot of that is feature creep but mostly it is from govt meddling. Netflix and doordash are dumb, but not the real problem

I think we’re making a mistake to just believe that the people who vote for these lunatics are ignorant. There’s gotta be more. I think there are many who want to burn down the whole system even if it makes their own situation worse…anger and hatred are powerful forces…thought?

All the big chain stores were running full blast while the small stores and restaurants were killed. There is an obvious effort to make things hard for small businesses

??? ummm... Id say on average the left is far more supportive of small business, while the right is more corporate protectionist. Though Ive never met anyone of any party who doesn't support small business. The right just wouldn't undercut corporations by and large, and the left would.

@Outspoken_Sam @JessicaTarlov This is called the “availability heuristic.” It’s a type of cognitive bias that makes you judge how likely something is based on how easily an example comes to mind, not on actual statistics or evidence. Statistics show right wing violence is far more pervasive.

The Republican gaslighting on ‘violent rhetoric’ is ludicrous. Yes, Democrats call Donald Trump a threat to democracy. He still denies the 2020 election and a lot of his party has gone along with it. There’s a reason Republicans hide from reporters - they can’t answer for Trump dancing on the graves of his political enemies or calling Democrats ‘the enemy within’, ‘traitors’, or the ‘party of hate, evil, and Satan.’ And for those that actually care about reality, the majority of political violence comes from the right. It’s clear as day.

I don't know why people argue with me over George Floyd. There are maybe like 12 people who know more about this case than me and none of them are academics or leftist. - It took 17 minutes for EMS to go 2 blocks because they went to the wrong address. - Chauvin called EMS 30 seconds into Floyds Arrest. - Floyd is seen on Camera consuming pills - Chauvin was trained in the technique he used and it was retroactively made illegal and prior training was hidden from the jury - The medical examiner admitted if this happened at Georges home with no police, it was an OD - EMS didn't hook George up to Oxygen when put in the ambulance. They forgot to hook the tubing to the O2 tanks - Floyd still had a faint heartbeat when he reached the hospital despite all of this
