In a House with nearly 350 Members of Parliament, both elected and nominated, fewer than 20 showed up when the Finance Bill was officially being tabled. Out of those 20, only three stood on the side of the ordinary citizens: Hon. Caroli Omondi CBS, Hon. Ndindi Nyoro and Hon. Millie Mabona. The rest were simply there to collect their sitting allowances, discuss Premier League football and then rush back to their mansions.
