Bernardo’s account was detailed and specific, both in place and in dialogue, while Senator Escudero’s remarks were, for the most part, general, defensive, and framed around whataboutisms. However, if we are to follow the lead of Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Joel Villanueva in their privilege speeches, Senator Ping Lacson may well present the General Appropriations Act or the unprogrammed funds to demonstrate Senator Escudero’s possible culpability. To paraphrase the Hulk, don’t make Ping angry, you would ‘t like him when he’s angry! 🤣
