No - they went there to help construct and develop Dubai and paid the taxes of the country? You want all British workers to stay in the UK and never develop their skills overseas - pathetic! British expatriates have provided their knowledge, know how and skills in the construction and operation of new infrastructures and new businesses for many developing countries, often in very difficult circumstances, for centuries. These expatriates have paid the taxes in the countries where ever they have worked. The expatriates should be applauded for their efforts in leading, educating and training the indigenous population in the construction of critical infrastructures together with the creation and running of new businesses which can then be later ran by the indigenous population. Expatriate intervention has not only improved the quality of the developing countries it has also benefitted the trade links and coffers of the UK. Sent from my iPad
