@RawkVocalPower @Rob_the_Traitor It was a Frank Miller comic that blew up into an animated series on Fox Kids. Briefly, the world is defended by kaiju fighting “robot” BGY-11, who is actually piloted, but that’s a secret. Rusty is an actual robot a la Astroboy who looks up to him and becomes his sidekick.

@DrakeandDice Most games I’ve run lately (except maybe V5) are focused more on players’ rolls and responding to them. PbtA is generally low on GM dice rolls and in Cypher, you only roll on loot tables. But most of my games are online now so I rarely get to use mine even if they call for ‘em.
