It would be nice if someone associated with Kentucky Basketball would say something to the fans
It can be a Tweet, a pre-recorded video or just a smoke signal…but something to a fanbase desperately wanting something positive, strikes me as a good idea

@TristanUda Cowering down feels like it’s trashing our new guys too. I like your suggestion. Sell what you got and try and create momentum. At least others will see your positive versus pouting and hiding.

I’m not sure there is anything Mark Pope could say right now that would be received positively, or shift opinions.
Maybe a, “I like the roster pieces so far, and there’s still work to do.”
Even then, the roster is incomplete, and it’ll ultimately have to be proven on the court.

That roster is very comparable to Kentucky’s. They have a “star” in Flory, but not sure I would take the entire roster over Kentucky’s.
I will take Zoom and Wilkins over Shelstad and Wooley. Also, give me Kam over Knox.

Its ear that Kentucky's recruiting issues are not JMI or school related, by the way. Will Stein is closing on top guys. Kenny Brooks is bringing in elite recruits. Mark Pope...is not. Its him.
