@dianabarran just because the data shows requests are being approved more frequently doesn't mean the system works. So many parents still having to fight through complaints processes and deal with stubborn LA's/Academies answering the wrong question to get approval #summerborn

@dianabarran said that data “suggests that the system for summer-born admissions is now working much better than it was in 2015” That ‘data’ is skewed! This is absolutely not true. Ask thousands of our families who battle this day in day out. An absolute travesty.

We ALREADY have the right to ‘delay’ school. CSAge is CSAge. It’s whether or not a reception or Y1 start at that point is agreed. This is where the birth/postcode lottery is inconsistent up and down the country, often with individual schools making decisions #summerborn
